Exceptional

Little Louise's is now by far my favorite rental property and I have stayed at many. Jenene and Scottie can compete with any 5-star hotel with their luxurious accommodation, thoughtful touches and fully customizable add-on experiences. And that's all before we talk about the iconic view of Lion's Rock and the charming town of Piha. Don't pass up a chance to stay here. We will definitely return.

Kia ora! We’re Jenene & Scottie, the custodians of The Louise’s. Why custodians? We believe in care-taking, not ownership—acknowledging that we’re part of the journey of this whenua (land) for a moment in time. Our goal is to leave this special place better than we found it.

When we began our journey in Piha four years ago, we couldn’t have imagined the mark it would leave on us. Here, we’ve healed wounds, breathed new life, dreamt big ideas, and embraced the possibility of a different path. Now, as we open up our whare (home) to others, we do so with a deep sense of gratitude, knowing the positive impact this space has had on our whānau (family) and wairua (living spirit).

We take pride in creating a sanctuary for others, offering a safe, tranquil retreat where memories are made and spirits are renewed. We practice manaakitanga—respect, kindness, and generosity of spirit—and will do everything possible to ensure your stay is unforgettable.

We can’t wait to share the magic of Piha and The Little Louise’s with you and hope it brings you the same joy it’s brought to us.
