Place was very nice but I've stayed on better properties in Jamaica Beach but this was a last minute fishing trip and the price was very reasonable for three guys.Overall good but I wouldn't but missing a little TLC.Thanks

Les points forts : Propreté, arrivée, communication, emplacement et exactitude de l’annonce
This place is nice enough, and it was super quiet while we were there which was super nice. There are a few things that kind of bugged us, but I have some anxieties when traveling so it was probably more of a me issue. The bathroom by the washer and dryer is the only place that kept hot water long enough to shower. The sink in the kitchen and the bathroom by the front door only kept it for around 3 minutes at a time and only heated up 2 times so my shower experience was rough that first night. On the down side, the bathroom that kept hot water has a toilet with a seat that's literally almost half the size of the toilet so to me it was unusable. Also, there are no curtains on the windows facing the road so at night it feels like everyone can see inside, which was pretty irritating. There are a few boards loose on the deck and railing, and DO NOT sit on the bench by where you park. It's rusted through. Other than that it was a nice property. You can tell it's older, but for us that added some of the charm.

Great location Jamaica Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House on a canal, easy access for fishing. Nothing fancy, but it was clean and good location on the canal. They need to put outlet covers on all the outlets as they were exposed. For the price, we have stayed at nicer homes in Jamaica Beach.

Les points forts : Arrivée et communication
The host was very good and receptive. Very easy check in and out.Issues were as follows. Secondary bedroom had a visibly stained comforter on the bed.Primary bedroom, the bed covers were stale and needed to be washed. The garbage disposal did not work which created a backup in the sink. The manager/host got a plumber over and this was corrected.Zero TV service for the entire 4 day stay. And no internet to connect anything to. There is a disclaimer in the book about sketchy service, but I literally had no service, no connection. Please invest in some ZEVO to combat the gnats. They were aggressive and many in number.Several lights out, including the front porch which made it a bit nerve wrecking to come in after dark. The place is roomy for a small group and if you want to be in Jamica Beach it is a great location. Nice view from the dining room window. However, I would not rent this location again.

cute one

Overall cute property but when telling management about kayaks literally " sinking " and having to be rescued by the friendly neighbors, apparently this has happened before and owner has done nothing about it.

Great weekend get away

Property was clean and just as expected. We had everything we needed. Would recommend the owners replace the upstairs and downstairs patio furniture. Also put some pavers from the deck to the concrete near the dock so people don’t keep tracking mud in their boat. Other than that everything was great!

Highly Recommend

Perfect house for a family of 4. We love Jamaica Beach and have stayed in this area many times. This property was just what we needed for the week. Clean, great updates and comfy. Kitchen has just the basics, but we planned on eating dinner out, so it had what we needed for breakfast / lunch. Short drive to beach, loved the canal location. Only really minor suggestion overall would be to add a swim ladder & fish light to the owners, but we managed to catch tons of fish and get in/out of the canal. Get the live shrimp at the local bait shop! Was refreshing to work with local rental company and face to face! Definitely would stay there again.

Great get away!

The property was very clean and enjoyable and served its purpose for us, the management company people were amazing, however there are a few issues, the rug in the living area is not kid friendly everyone kept slipping on it. The floor transitions were also not very friendly we all kept stumping toes. The bed in the master needs a rug under it, it would roll every time we got in or out of bed. The deck also not kid friendly there are nails sticking up, the part about this that is bothersome is the fact that this was also in other reviews and it is still not fixed. I would suggest fixing this before someone gets hurt. The furniture on the deck not user friendly. Also the tv, it would have been nice to know what channels are free, we spent a lot of time trying to find kids show, maybe a short guide. There were a few other things I don't want to put on here, but if you want to know these things you can send me an email.

Great Stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was great for our 2 families. It was close to everything we were doing in Galveston, but relaxing and out of the busy part of town. The property management was very helpful the few times we needed anything. The only thing that could have been better were maybe add a few bowls. The extra linens and blankets for the foldout were stained/dirty, but there is a washer and dryer.

Cute house at the canal

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is cute and in the perfect location with amazing views! My favorite part of the house is the covered balcony at the front of the house where there is an amazing “cool breeze” any time of the day. I found everything I needed in the kitchen. The house was clean and the management act fast of you have issues. The negative aspects: found dirt spots at the curtains in the living room and covers at the master bedroom, the dining table at the balcony on second floor is broken and useless and that balcony need some maintenance because you can hurt your feet if barefoot also the hailing is kind of loose (not danger yet, but beed to be checked). Back to the positve aspects, the house offers kayaks and it was fun to have access to the water so easily. My kids woke up and went to fish or for a kayaking “expedition”. Neighbors were very nice. It is a nice house. We had fun!
