Welcome to Owl's Nest, where you'll discover a classically remodeled, upscale cabin with a massive wall of windows that brings expansive views of the surrounding forest. With central heat and a cozy wood stove, you'll be warm all winter long! Enjoy streaming (guests log in with their own accounts) with the grand 75-inch tv, making it easy to stay cozy and entertained on those long winter nights! Or try relaxing while listening to records on the Vinyl Record Player. The large deck is perfect for enjoying the outdoors during the summer with a BBQ and gas fire pit for the whole family to enjoy. We want your family to have the perfect stay here, so we provided a pack-and-play and books, as well as a high chair.
The large kitchen has everything you'll need for your stay, including a Keurig coffee maker and wine fridge. You'll appreciate the wet bar, located in the dining area - perfect for entertaining! The dining table can comfortably seat 8, with a breakfast bar accommodating 2 more. We also have air-conditioning to keep you cool on hot summer days (coming Spring 2025!) and central heat with a Nest Thermostat - in addition to the wood stove - to keep you warm on the chilly winter nights. Power outages? No problem with the whole house generator, which automatically switches on when power goes out!
Sleeping accommodations include a king-sized bed in the primary suite upstairs (along with a twin ottoman hide-away for children), and two bedrooms downstairs with queen beds in both bedrooms. Additionally, the loft serves as a game room with a reading nook, TV and gaming table, as well as additional sleeping space, with a trundle bed (2 twins) and a queen sleeper sofa.
Bathrooms include shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
If you need to get some work done while you're here, we have a desk and high-speed internet to keep you connected and productive. Easy access from Hwy 4, near golf course and country club. It's a short 4 minute walk from the golf course restaurant and Sequoia Woods Country Club, and a short drive to Blue Lake Springs Recreation center.. We offer guest use of the garage, as well. The Owl's nest is something to hoot about!
Access Information: You will receive check-in instructions, including your access code for entry, 2-4 days prior to your scheduled arrival date. Please be sure to check your junk/spam email, as sometimes these instructions end up there.
Pet Policy: Well-behaved and housebroken dogs welcomed, but must not be left alone (must be over 1 year old - max 2 dogs) with $50 non-refundable pet fee (please include in your reservation notes how many pets you're bringing, max 2).
Audio/visual cameras are on site (exterior only).
Tenant must be at least 25 years old to rent.
Communication: Property management will contact tenant by their preferred method of communication (personal email, text, etc.) to send a required rental agreement, check-in instructions, etc.
Payment (where applicable): A 2% surcharge (of the total transaction amount) will be added to your transaction charges when your credit card is charged. Upon booking, $300, plus the c/c fee, is due immediately and is charged to the credit card on file. The balance is due 30 days prior to arrival (if you are booking a stay that is sooner than 30 days from the booking date, the full amount is due immediately & will be charged to your card on file). We will accept payment by check for the final payment, as long as your arrival date is further out than 45 days. If you wish to pay by check, please email our office immediately to advise us NOT to charge your card on file for the final payment. Please note that if your check is not received by the 30 day mark, your credit card on file will be charged, regardless of previous arrangement. All payments are due in full 30 days prior to your arrival.
