Nice area, spacious rooms

Nice area, easy access to lots of places to visit. A lot of bedrooms, great for a group. There are a few upgrades needed but nothing that affected our stay. Would rent here again. Yo let us check in early since we had an early flight. That helped us a lot.

House was spacious and very clean. As noted in some previous reviews, heating system is uneven with bedrooms being particularly hot and lower level bedrooms with windows that do not open. Good instructions for induction stove but not clear whether all pots are compatible. Kitchen lacks decent chopping knives and a cutting board. Primary bedroom bathtub drips continuously as noted by others in last several months.

Amazing Grad Weekend

I had an amazing weekend with my friends at this stay. The property managers were extremely responsive and I had no issues at all in this stay. They were extremely accommodating and even allowed us to check in early. Would absolutely stay here again! Also, super close to my school and washington DC so location was very convenient.

Easy check in. It was available last minute after another host cancelled. That was a lifesaver. It’s very close to Bethesda and Glen Echo. The kitchen was well equipped. Any tiny issue we had, the manager took care of. Would be a good candidate for a 2 zone AC system as the downstairs is freezing if the upstairs is comfortable. House was great for 8 guests.

Huge Cottage near to DC

The house was huge accommodated all our 12 members nicely. All newly renovated areas look good. The check in and checkout was easy and they even provided us an extended checkout time. Lot of space in common areas especially useful with kids, nicely renovated kitchen and comfortable beds. Close to dc and zoo.

A large oasis close to dc

The house was big accommodated all of our 12 members very comfortably. The location was close to the zoo and dc area which was reason for our visit. Kitchen with the induction stove and cookware was really useful. We had lot of space in the common areas for ours kids 5 of them to run around and enjoy.

Nice stay

Well layed out place in a very good location. The kitchen was spacious with modern appliances and plenty of storage. All of the cooking appliances were induction or convection neither of which any of us were familiar with. Some sort of instruction booklet would have been very helpful although i contacted the owner and he was helpful. We had a few plumbing issues and the washer machine was broken and again the owner was responsive and did compensate for the lack of washermachine. It was very hot while we were there and while the upstairs living space was slightly warm the downstairs was freezing requiring extra blankets to sleep. Overall it was a pleasant stay with a few glitches and a responsive owner

Well. The owner was very nice but property was being worked on. They had walls unpainted basement floor was not done so no one wanted to stay downstairs plumbing had to be readjusted two of the 5 beds upstairs caved in the middle. Also the heating only worked well in one room you had to put it at 75 so that it could be felt elsewhere but the one room would then be too hot. Should not rent out again until he fixes floors walls mirrors and beds

From the Owner: Hi Rosario, thank you for taking the time to review our home. We feel that we were very attentive, and we responded to all of your requests quickly to get you taken care of. - We acknowledge and apologize for the problems, but some of these issues were beyond our control. The contractor left some unpainted spots that were very small in the guest toilet as well as some drops of paint on the basement floor. This is merely cosmetic and they do not comprise the use of the facilities in any way. We have done some touch up to the spots and removed all spots from the floor. - You received a great rate because of the basement and we feel your review was not fair and would appreciate it if you looked at this again. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.

The property was very clean and had all the necessary cooking supplies. The house was spacious and in a good location. It was easy to get to D.C. and traffic was moderate to get to and from D.C. The house's A/C could not keep up with the heat in Bethesda this week. The A/C was set to 68 when we arrived but the house upstairs temperature was 78 degrees. This house would be perfect most times of the year but it was too hot upstairs to sleep for the two days we were there. As soon as we arrived, we closed all the blinds in the house and that seemed to help some with the temperature in the house. Other than the temp the property was in a safe neighborhood and close to friends we were visiting. The owner was quick to respond after we contacted him about the issue with the air conditioner. He sent out a technician which might have helped for the second day. It was still 74 degrees in the upstairs of the house and not quite enjoyable to sleep. I would recommend this house for large groups who are visiting in the spring or fall for sure. We appreciate the owner's attentiveness. He did offer a partial refune for the inconvenience.

The house was located in a fantastic area for ease of travel. Beautiful finishes, plenty of space for our group of 9.We had a few challenges, the most pressing being the AC would not cool below 76 no matter what we did. We found an industrial fan in the garage to help but it could only go in one room and it was really loud. I asked for more fans but my request was not responded to. The kitchen has very high-end appliances that I was unfamiliar with. It would be better if the host provided directions on how to use these different features, as they are not common in most homes. The induction cooktop would not work except with 2 of the pans provided. After some googling, we determined it must be a metal pan. Host seems unfamiliar with the appliances. We wound up buying a couple pans and also more forks because they did not even have nine. The host did cheerfully and quickly reimburse us for those costs. I had hoped a few more basic supplies would have been available in the kitchen. The only things there were spray cooking oil, salt and pepper and about three spices. There were no Ziploc, foil etc. Needs more serving dishes.The faucet of the soaker tub steadily leaks, and it is noisy. The other first floor bathroom drain is very slow and needs to be cleaned out.No laundry detergent provided. Machine door does not latch and it won't run. This needs to be repaired.Garage remote missing. Communication was often slow. Host should stay here to understand problems.
