We really enjoyed our stay here. It is RIGHT on the beach! We are a family of four with two small dogs and the space was perfect. Some simple things could be added to the condo just for helping with moisture and sand (a mop would be nice, a few rugs/mats in various spaces throughout the condo could help).
Place is as advertised. Small and no Place to hang or store stuff. Close to beach. Water was closed the whole time we were there, no fault of owner, but ridiculous. Pool was closed one day as well.
Perfect weather with a view of the beach. Quiet in the back and i enjoyed sitting on the patio area listening to and watching the waves. Front street was packed and loud, but I didn't hear it inside the apartment. The only improvement would be for the shower to stay hot longerlongerstayhotlenghthlenghtleoestion
Smack on the beach in the heart of Panama City Beach. It is a congested, raucous area but the complex is old concrete block so itâs quiet inside. The unit was clean and well renovated and pleasant for two.
The best feature is the location! You are so close to the beach, so close to the strip, pier park too. Everything is within walking distance.
The condo is exactly as described & pictured.
The owner was quick to answer/address any needs.
This place was just as described. Enjoyed the stay and really appreciate that this pet friendly place included cats. We also met the owner/host, he was very nice too. Larry and Cheryl who work at the Ambassador were also very friendly and helpful.
Loved sitting on the balcony gazing at the beautiful beach. The condo was nice for 2 and our little dog. Traffic is busy but we were able to walk to restaurants for dining or carryout. Did our grocery shopping early morning when traffic was light.
We decided to head to the beach last minute and booked this condo and boy we are glad we did. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony sipping coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. The beach was right there just a few steps away. We had our miniature poodle with us who loved being there. A short walk to Pier Park for some shopping and eating. This condo is located in a perfect spot and on the quieter end of the beach. There wasnât a whole lot of people there. I would stay here again for another beach get away.
I was planning on taking my dog to the dog beach at Pier Park and wanted somewhere close by. This is really close to Pier Park and you can easily walk. The only thing I might upgrade is the shower head. Itâs a ârain styleâ shower head and there is little to no water pressure. Other than that, the place was very clean and I would definitely stay here again!!
This unit had a great view and very easy access to the beach. Balcony looked directly out on beach just as advertised. Easy walk to several eating places - all very good. Traffic was a bit much since it was spring break (3/10-17) but most drivers seemed very polite, stopping to allow turning into parking lot or to walk across street. Was a noise issue due to construction in some of the units but issue will resolve itself and our host worked with us to lower the daily price. He did offer extra days but we were unable to do that as we had obligations at home. We would have no problem staying again.
We stayed here during the month of March, spring break month, with our dogs. The road that is in the front of the Ambassador was super busy with traffic, and noise. However, the back of the building is a beautiful view with the most beautiful beaches Iâve ever seen. The access to the private beach was literally just a walk down some steps. NO ALCOHOL is allowed on the beach during March ($500 fine if caught) You can rent nice beach chairs for $20 a DAY (this is not part of the Ambassador). No dogs allowed on the beach (there is a beach about a half mile away where they are allowed) The pool is not heated, but there is a nice hot tub area on site.
The little dog area is convenient, but small, not a place to run your dog, itâs just for potty breaks. There is not a lot of green space anywhere around there, you do have to walk a few blocks to get to green space.
Our unit at the Ambassador was just as pictured, no surprises. It was clean and bright. We were very pleased with it. The balcony was our favorite spot.
Just a few minor things for your information, there wasnât a toaster, there is just the one quilt on the bed (no other blankets), no clocks at all (butâŠyou are on vacation), no beach towels. If you need a dark room to sleep, bring a sleep mask, the bedroom has some filtered light from outside lights and if the bathroom light is on, it lights up the bedroom through the beautiful fish stained glass window. We enjoyed our stay!
Very small, but only good thing I could bring my dog!
Small space with no closet in main bedroom or nightstands. Standup shower could have designed smaller to accommodate larger vanity with more counter space. The wall art is full of misspelled words. Found it a bit amusing how bad it was. No beach chairs. Other owners provided them for their guests. Probably wonât return. Nice view of the gulf!
We loved the rental and the location. Host was easy to communicate with. Loved sitting on the balcony enjoying the beautiful view of the gulf. We will be back.
