Great little getaway! Just far enough outside of Galena to avoid the crowds, but close enough to go to town and enjoy all the shops!

Charming condo

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our first time at this condo but third year renting in Eagle Ridge with this company. This condo was perfect for a great getaway. Not only was there a scenic water feature in the back, but it is very cutely decorated. The only issue we had was that my code did not work to access the door and although I called the company twice, I was unable to get an answer. Luckily, the Ring doorbell worked.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon arrival the code didn't work to get into the residence. We were able to get hold of the property manager and get that worked out. We were just one couple staying in the unit - there were two master BR with attached baths. We would typically stay in the lower level (in case of fire for instance) - but the lower level BR had one window with no window treatment/blinds, so we trucked our stuff up to the upper BR. Not the end of the world, but annoying and surprising since the rest of the unit, albeit tight in space, was clean and comfortable. Overall was a fine place to stay in a beautiful area.

We had a little trouble with the access code to get in and after a quick phone call to Linda everything was fixed. We enjoyed the Stonedrift Spa and guest access to the outdoor pool. This property is a short drive away from downtown Galena. We would definitely book here again when we visit Galena.

My family stayed here for 3 nights. The condo was well organized and a great place to stay. It had everything we needed and was central to all the great things the Galena area has to offer.

Beautiful Villa

One of the nicest villas we have stayed in at Eagle Ridge. The property was well-kept and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable for rest, the kitchen was handy to prepare meals and the living room furniture situated well for conversation.

Little Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a very enjoyable experience at this rental. It was very clean and well stocked if you want to cook. Loved the outdoor patio view and how close it was to the Hot Air Balloon Festival. We didn’t know we could walk to that. We also explored the trails on the area and in Downtown Galena which is a very short drive. The clubhouse pool was also excellent. My only negative is I am very sensitive to air fresheners and they did have a couple plug in’s that were irritating my senses.

Breath of fresh air

We spent a couple of days with our granddaughter (13) at the condo during her spring break and had a great time. Condo was perfect: very comfortable, spacious, clean, and well equipped. The view over the pond of the golf course was spectacular, even with the course closed for the winter. We definitely plan to return.

The kitchen was well equipped, but the dishwasher felt like it was going to come out of the cabinets & the handle was barely hanging on. The windows need to be fully replaced as they are full of condensation in between the panes & the blinds didn’t work correctly plus the windows didn’t really lock. The beds were awful, fully indented on the sides with the middle a hump that you couldn’t stay on. Otherwise the landlord was nice, the location was good, the towels were good size and there were a few extra which was great.

We had a wonderful stay and the home was perfect. We would have liked to have had more kitchen amenities as we had gone to store to grill some, but did not get any type of spices as we figured there would be some and this place is a ways from town. Just one example. We were hoping to golf out there and that did not work out, we were glad that there were other courses in the area. Thank you for the stay.
