The space
This is a cozy fully renovated one bedroom rural cottage with bedroom and en suite bathroom. There is also a bed chesterfield in the living room which can sleep a second couple. The property on which it is situated overlooks Shuswap Lake with views of the lake and mountains. This is a quiet place in nature. The big house, across the driveway, has a bedroom with a double bed overlooking the garden and the lake which can can accommodate a third couple for an additional $125.00 US a night.

There is an organic garden, deck and small orchard in front of the main house you can enjoy. Relax on the beach at Paradise Point Park a 10 minute walk away where the water is silky smooth. Herald Park with swimming area, boat launch and picnic area is a 10 minute drive away. This cottage is a great home base for a couple or small family who wish to relax and enjoy all that the Shuswap Lake area has to offer which includes great hiking, fishing, sightseeing, boating, wine tours etc. Both the towns of Salmon Arm, B.C. and Sorrento, B.C. are less than 1/2 hour away.

WINTER LEASE

Sunnybrae Cottage can be leased in the winter for $700.00 a month from September 15th until May 31st. After the September long weekend the summer cottage people have gone home, the garden has been harvested and the winter wood is cut and piled.

Sunnybrae Cottage at this time of year is ideal for writers, artists and those that want seclusion and a retreat in nature. You will have all the amenities and comforts of home that you are use to like electric heat, satellite TV and high speed internet. You can comfy up to the fireplace, read a book or go snowshoeing out the back door or take a long walk along the no through road.

You can go cross country skiing or snowshoeing in Larch Hills which is 45 minutes away. Skiing or snowboarding at Silver Star near Vernon, B.C. which Is 1 ½ hours away or at Sun Peaks outside of Kamloops, B.C. which is 2 ½ hours away.

Come relax in nature and enjoy the additional retreat packages including wellness assessments, dodecahedron sound chamber and spiritual coaching offered by hour, day, three day or week..
