Newly remodeled 1250 Square foot private upstairs living space, with it's own exterior stairwell. Open floor plan that you enter thru the kitchen and immediately can see thru the kitchen, dining room and living room to the beautiful view of Moran Bay (Lake Huron) out the front window of the living room.
Overall great place to stay when homes on the island arenât avaliable. Generally speaking nothing to complain about, I would stay here again if I were to revisit the area. Only areas of complaint would be that the view from the house isnât as âstunningâ as in the pictures, dishwasher took several minutes and two people to figure out, and cleaning instructions in binder didnât match the texted instructions on the morning of departure, but these are small things that I felt like should be noted but not worthy of a less than 5-star review! TLDR: would book again!!
The place is very nice. No surprises. There's a Dollar General very near for quick odds and ends. We highly recommend it to other families and would definitely stay there again.
The pictures of the place while accurate really donât reflect the feel of the place. It was so much better than the pictures. Easy walk to the lake and shops along the strip. Close to the dock and boats that take you to Mackinaw Island. The host left a packet of info about places to see and where to eat.
We were pleased with the property. The location was perfect for proximity to the shuttle for Mackinac Island. The kitchen was very clean, but lacked dishes for cooking. When we called the owner he came right over to give us a few extra pans. I do recommend that he add a few things for actual cooking (large pot and a few casserole dishes). The beds were comfortable and the house was clean and equipped with plenty of bedding and towels. If weâre ever in that area we would definitely stay there again.
We enjoyed our stay in St Ignas MI. The apartment was very nice. Checking in and out was a breeze. The kitchen was very nice, we mainly only used it for breakfast. Scott was very responsive to questions or concerns.
As others have noted, the pictures online do not adequately indicate how nice the condo is. The view outside the living space window is literally what you see online. That is not a blown up view. You can easily walk to the waterfront street. This is a second floor condo with an outside staircase for those who may have difficulty with stairs, but that was not a problem for us and it is why the view is so good.
Mattresses were very comfortable, which is always a plus.
A little thin on some of the basics - no sugar for coffee, bodywash, shampoo, conditioner for the shower, but we may have noticed that because we somehow managed NOT to pack those and had travelled from another Vrbo that had provided them, but that is a minor detail in an overall nice place.
View from the window is beautiful. Very accessible to the ferry where my husband need to travel everyday. Close to restaurants and shops. Very good location.
Scott was an awesome host. His replies to all my questions were quick and efficient i had no problems . The apartment met all expectations . We had a great time and would book again
I loved this place and if I go back to that area I would definitely stay there again. Easy to walk to stores, restaurants, the Ferry, beach, etc. The view of the fireworks over the bay on Saturday nights was perfect from our window.
The property was easy to find and to park. It's located close to downtown so it is easy to walk to most restaurants and shopping. The mattresses were a little over firm, and did result in sore backs for everyone. The furniture has a little wear, but we were out most of the time. The absence of a Keurig coffee maker was a little bit of a surprise. I was also a little disappointed in the condition of the pans and cooking utensils in the kitchen. Not a problem if you plan to eat out, but if you are cooking in be aware. The view however was amazing and the owner was very quick to respond to all questions and concerns.
