wonderful experience

the owners were wonderful, very responsive and helpful in all aspects of our stay. The house has a great kitchen and nice size backyard. Short walk to two private beaches, and a quick drive to downtown milford.

Great house! I stayed with a few friends and we enjoyed the area. Small quiet town with a little beach across the street which was perfect. Clean house which was prepped nicely with necessities. Owners were very helpful with suggestions for the area. Really enjoyed our stay!

Forth of July Weekend Trip

The house was in a great location with access to the beach and playground. The community had residents who were super friendly. The house itself was clean and allowed our dog. The view of the water from the house was beautiful.

Charming and comfortable!!!!!

The house was absolutely perfect for our mini family reunion. It was charming both inside and out and it comfortably slept everyone in our party. The kitchen was large and well equipped and the dining area was a great gathering place for meals and games. We all had a fabulous time and I highly recommend this wonderful home.

Lovely Spot!

We had a very nice few days with our pup in this clean and comfortable spot. It was nicely appointed and very cozy. It was so nice to look out on the water and relax. Great area to get some good walks in, too. The extra treat was the harvest moon! We would definitely love to return.

Perfect location near the beach

We shared the house with another couple and were very comfortable. The kitchen was well appointed with numerous appliances for whatever we needed. Bedrooms were spacious and the beds fine as well. The bathrooms were both beautiful and large. The location was very convenient to both shopping and relaxing nearby.

Great house with lots of space and friendly hosts!

Rob and Yolanda were incredibly kind and available throughout my entire stay. When we arrived there was a birthday balloon and welcome basket as well as very easy instructions regarding the house. The house has the basics necessary for a comfortable vacation and is a 10 minute walk from a couple nice beaches (although we were asked to leave one due to it being private). Would recommend and/or stay again!

Simple and Charming

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay in this cozy duplex unit with beach views from the front sunporch. The owner definitely went out of his way to make us feel welcome, with generous welcome-baskets and helpful notes around the house.

Home Away from Home

This house was exactly what we wanted in a vacation rental. It felt like home. The interior is comfortable and updated - and the neighborhood is quiet. We walked to the beach, shopped in the center of town, and ate at lunches and dinners at Rainbow Gardens, Cafe Atlantique, Citrus, and more - right near the green. Milford is a such a great place to enjoy summertime! We'll be back to visit again!

A Home Away From Home

I highly recommend this home away from home, having stayed several times. The town is beautiful, the house is in a very quiet neighborhood with great access to the beach. The kitchen is a sunny and updated, great space to enjoy an espresso or cup of coffee. Then lunch while lounging out on the deck, very relaxing. The living room is spacious and complete with a fireplace. Love the modern bathrooms! Can't wait to go back!

Great Experience

A run to the nearby beach is how my husband and I started our day. Loved it! We also enjoyed meals in the beautiful kitchen and relaxing on the deck afterwards. The spacious and comfortable master bedroom is the perfect sanctuary for quiet time. Great experience and memories.

Fantastic beachfront getaway

My family and I came to stay at this lovely property after having been home bound due to the pandemic for over a year. This was our first real vacation since 2019. We enjoyed the fact that the space was spotless with comfortable spaces, a well appointed kitchen, and above all the gorgeous view of the Long Island Sound and Charles Island. We highly recommend this property for anyone who wants to have a peaceful and rejuvenating getaway with their family. I highly recommend this rental and will come back again!

Beautiful Home in a Great Location

My family and I loved staying in this home! The kitchen is beautiful and made me want to cook - even though I hate to cook. The bathrooms are updated and fabulous. The master bedroom is huge and the other bedrooms had plenty of room. The living room is great for relaxing, but we loved sitting outside on the deck. It's a quick walk to the beach and a short ride to the center of town, to the mall, to great restaurants. We'd stay here again for sure!

Great house with great amenities

This house was perfect for us. It is spacious and well furnished. It has a comfortable livingroom, modern bathrooms, large bedrooms and a gourmet chef's kitchen. It has a spacious enclosed yard and deck. We enjoyed our time here reading, taking short strolls to the beach, and trying our hands at some gourmet recipes. There are markets and very good restaurants nearby. We felt like we were home here. This house was well-designed for comfortable, stress-free living. We'll definitely be coming back.

Quick Getaway

We recently moved to the east coast and needed a quick vacation. Fortunately, we were able to find Robert's property last minute and enjoyed a few days exploring New Haven and the adjacent areas. Robert was always available via text or the Vrbo chat to answer any questions and the house had everything we needed. The house is close to New Haven and Robert had some great food recommendations (which we ended up trying for every meal). Thanks again Robert!

Worth the experience

Our experience with Roberts rental was fantastic. I loved the enclosed front porch. I worked there during the day and at night we sat there and watched the sunset. It was directly across from the beach which made it so easy to go back and forth to the house with our 9 month old. Our stay was also during storm Ida but Robert was so responsive to anything we needed. The location was close to everything we needed and has beautiful New England drives leading in. I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for that perfect quiet location to relax with family or friends.

Gem on the shore

This property has everything you need. It was nice not to have to worry about beach chairs or towels. Having the backyard fully equipped was also great. The kitchen is fully stocked and the owner provided a very much appreciated welcome basket with very thoughtful treats. The owner was kind enough to check in to make sure everything was okay when a hurricane was forecast to hit during our stay. Excellent communication. I would highly recommend this property!

Beautiful View

My favorite part of the property is its gorgeous view of the Long Island Sound. It’s an older home, and still needs a little work, but the beds are super comfortable, the host is great at getting back to you and he left us a nice basket of goodies and wine. He also provides things like TP, Paper towels, sheets, bath and beach towels, coffee, detergent and more. This is so nice to not have to bring all of that when traveling with 3 kids! The small beach out front is nice for collecting shells, skipping rocks, or reading on the bench. Overall, we had a really great stay.

Spa Feel Beach Home

The moment I walked in and saw the cozy fireplace and beautiful color of the living room, I felt right at home. My family and I LOVED the kitchen. Oh my goodness, it has a beautiful island counter that goes on forever. The best part after cleaning up dishes was the two dishwashers. It felt like a chef's kitchen. Retreating to a spa like shower in the very ample and posh bathrooms made feel like I was staying in a fancy five star hotel. We loved our stay there and I am ready to book another week long stay in this beautiful home.

Great house and great hosts

We booked this house Friday night and the hosts were able to accommodate us for a Saturday arrival. The house is fully stocked and very inviting. We live in a high rise and the large back yard and grill is exactly what we needed. We cooked every meal on the grill. It was an amazing experience. The house is walking distance to the beach, not even a 10 minute walk. They let us extend our stay late on the day of the checkout which was a huge help and very much appreciated. We give this house and the hosts 5 stars.
