Cabin on the cove

As always our family had a wonderful time and that was partly do to Cabin on the cove it is very nice relaxing having family dinners and breakfast every day setting out on the deck or porch has a wonderful views that change by the minute when watching the sun rise and set each day fun for all no matter what age.

Eagle sightings

House, location, and host were AWESOME. There were 8 adults and we couldn't have asked for a better time--even got treated to a free Derek Stoner concert over Labor Day weekend. Loved the dock access in the cove. Plenty of room for us in the house and the cove views with eagle was icing on the cake. Highly recommend this property!

Peaceful, scenic and spacious lake home.

Spacious, beautiful scenery and although surrounded by other homes on the lake, is quiet and peaceful. The owners provide bedding and basic kitchen and bathroom necessities. The fireplace is large and inviting. Great games, books, wifi, air hockey, TV's, etc. also provided. My family has stayed here at least ten times.

Cabin o the cove

Very lovely and accommodating. Tim Lewis was wonderful to rent from. Enjoy our time tremendously. Plenty of room. My trip to dock was difficult because of my broken leg. But a very steep incline.?

Comfortable Cabin on the Cove

The house is wonderful! With three floors and 3 bathrooms, everyone had plenty of space and privacy. There are lots of steps to get to the pier, but that was the same with every house along that end of the lake. Lake is gorgeous and we had the best time on the rented pontoon. Tim (owner) came by - very nice man. Good time was had by all.

Perfect trip for the weekend!

This house is beautiful and in a great location on the lake. Our group had 12 girls and we were able to fit comfortably. This house was perfect for our annual lake trip, but Tim made it even better! He is super easy to communicate with and treated us like family. We had a great time hanging out around the dock on floats. Overall could not have asked for a better experience. We will 100% be staying at this property again in the future!

Another year, another GREAT time.

We have been coming to these wonderful homes since 2005. We started out as five couples renting the "Lake-n-Logs" home. In 2010, we added three more couples that rent the "Cabin on the Cove". Both homes are always clean and have plenty of utensils so we don't have to bring much more than the food and drink. ALWAYS A GREAT TIME!!!

Great location, wonderful host

We were a group of 6 adults and 4 children. The house had plenty of room for all of us and was as pictured on vrbo. The kids (9, 9, 8, and 3) enjoyed swimming off the dock and using the kayaks in the calm inlet. They also loved the air hockey game on the bottom floor. The location is great, just minutes from Moor's Marina. Tim is the best host I have ever had while renting on vrbo. He sent me a very informative booklet about the house and area which was extremely helpful and also stopped by to make sure all was ok during our stay. Would definitely rent from him again!

A short but great vacation

This was a four day and night vacation, Cabin on the Cove was a great place to spend it. Tim (we didn't get to meet Jane) was a great host. He met us and showed me around while the others were moving our bags in. The dock was perfect for the pontoon and jet skies. Three of us went out with a fishing guide Fri.morning and caught more than enough for a family fish fry. Some of the furniture needs updating, i.e. a comfortable chair or two. It would be nice to have some grab bars in one of the bathrooms although it was clearly stated that the Cabin was not disability assessiblle.

Family Wedding

We stayed at Cabin on the Cove while attending a family wedding nearby. We had no idea how large and beautiful Kentucky Lake was and were so pleased with the home, views and the lake. The home was everything we expected and more. Clean, updated and all the comforts of home. The screen porch was my favorite! I enjoyed my morning coffee and book while relaxing in the swing on the porch, it was a great way to start the day. The 2 story deck was great as well, I wish we would have had more time to spend out there. The accommodations are well thought out, extra pillows, blankets, peg racks in the bedrooms for hanging bags, jackets, hats... Cabin on the Cove was a 5 star experience. Thank you Tim.

Perfect Getaway Destination

We loved our time spent on Kentucky Lake. The home is very comfortable and has every amenity. There is a lot of space, so a group of ten won’t feel crowded. The access to the water is very convenient and the scenery is beautiful.

Fourth of July Weekend at the Lakehouse

Tim was awesome greeted us upon arrival with hug and made us feel right at home. Even offered to help us bring our bags in. The house is beautiful and accommodated all our needs from grandchildren to great grandparents. The view of the lake was inviting and relaxing.

Amazing property!

We arrived fathers day week to spend time with my sick father, for fathers day. The house is very clean and nice. The owner, Tim, was super friendly! The hill is pretty steep. Difficult if you have mobility issues. They were doing work on the property at the time of the visit. But stayed mostly out of our way. Would definitely recommend.
