The Stone Cottage - Next to square, beach & more!

The Stone Cottage is a cozy, two-bedroom cottage bathed in natural light throughout. Fully restored, it maintains the charm of its early 1900's beginnings, but has been updated with all the modern amenities and tasteful decor to make your stay rejuvenating.

The space
BEDROOMS:
The master bedroom has 7 large windows and gets stunning natural light throughout the day, while floor to ceiling curtains ensure you have the privacy you desire (and the ability to sleep anytime you like). The queen bed features luxurious bedding, a memory foam mattress, quiet base, and two pillows options, depending on your firmness preference. The second bedroom, which we call the "Stone Room", is much cozier than the oversized master. It features two twin memory foam mattresses with luxurious bedding, a small chest of drawers, a suitcase stand, and hooks on the walls for hanging clothes. Both bedrooms have lamps or sconces to provide relaxing lighting in the evening. Ear plugs, white noise machines and iPhone charging cables are also included in both bedrooms.

KITCHEN:
We love to cook so the kitchen is fully outfitted with pots, pans, utensils, kitchen knives, and place settings for up to 8. Under-cabinet lighting provides a brightly illuminated workspace.

The kitchen has an electric, four burner cooktop, and full sized oven with a vent-a-hood for anyone wanting to practice their culinary skills. Olive oil, salt, and pepper are provided to help get you started. :)

For those who don't want to fire up the cooktop, there are a range of appliances including a blender for fresh smoothies, a toaster and a microwave for some late-night popcorn and a movie.

If you enjoy a hot, relaxing drink, there is an electric tea kettle, four different tea options (two caffeinated, two decaf), an automatic drip coffee machine, freshly ground coffee, and sugar.

There is no dishwasher but there is an in-sink drain board and a larger drainboard on the counter with an additional pullout underneath. Dish soap, hand soap and dish scrubbers are also included.

LIVING ROOM:
The living room has a comfortable L-shaped couch, perfect for watching movies or your favorite show on the wall-mounted, 4K HDR Smart TV. Through the Smart TV you can securely access any of your personal streaming subscriptions (Hulu, Netflix, Disney +, etc.). There is also a cabinet with books, games and a few small toys for kids! The entire house has access to high speed wifi through the private Stone Cottage wifi network, with download speeds up to 200Mbps!

BATHROOM:
The bathroom's beautiful decor includes a restored porcelain corner sink, small black and white hex tile, stained wood shelving, and hooks for towels.

The medicine cabinet above the sink contains a first aid kit, as well as room for storing your own toiletries should you wish. A small, in wall cabinet adjacent to the tub holds extra toilet paper and lavender bath salts for a relaxing soak.

Speaking of a relaxing soak, the shower/tub features a 15" deep soaking tub. The house is outfitted with plush bath towels and an on-demand hot water heater, ensuring that you have all the hot water needed for a refreshing shower or a calming soak with a good book.

OUTSIDE:
The house is set back about 100 feet from the street, providing a nice sense of privacy. As you walk out the back door, there is a secluded porch equipped with a table, grill, and outdoor seating. You can sit outside to enjoy a hot cup of coffee while listening to the birds or fire up the propane grill and cook up some juicy burgers!
