Amazing stay!

We came from the States to have a relaxing vacation and this beautiful clifftop home was exactly as advertised. The pictures do not deceive. The landscape was beautiful. The location was perfect- far enough away from the city to relax and enjoy peace and quiet, but close enough to everything we needed. Would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to get some time away!

Very relaxing

A relaxing and enjoyable stay. However, the owner requested the windows remain open for airing. Yet there were no fly screens and there were many mosquitoes!

We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your stay! However, it seems there may have been a misunderstanding regarding airing out the house. We don’t request that windows be left open; we simply ask for the room to be aired daily due to the high humidity in New Zealand. If this is done in the morning, there shouldn’t be any issues with mosquitoes. Thank you, and we hope to see you again soon!

Lovely peaceful spot

We had a great stay. The house has ridiculous views, it’s breath taking. Well equipped home, cosy with comfy beds, mod cons and a coffee plunger. Owners live next door and let our kids jump on trampoline in their front garden which was wonderful. Easy access to titirangi, French bay & beautiful walks. Peaceful and safe feeling. We found it really restful and would highly recommend

Beautiful spot, very good condition

Great spot down some windy roads on one of the Titirangi peninsulas. A scramble down a track to a tiny beach and the foreshore. Bach is perfectly maintained, owners are lovely. It is small. Good cycle up the hill to the local village.

Pets can stay but only little pets.

We booked in for 2 adults & told them we were bringing 2 dogs ( Labrador size ). The owners did not receive my communication from the booking site. We then had to return the 2 dogs home which when there was NOTHING ON THE SITE mentioning the size of the pets was pretty harsh I thought .We only booked for 1 night. Considering this was the sole reason we booked this place for my partner 60th birthday was bitterly disappointing. Everything else was wonderful. The 5 x 5 foot oil painting of a Buddha head in the lounge would not be to everyone's taste. The position of this property was superb. Just a little flexibility for 1 night would have changed everything.... we even offered to vacuum. We had taken sheets for the dogs to lie on & their 2 beds . Otherwise this place would be perfect & the couple themselves were great apart from the dog issue

Dear Jennifer, thanks for your review. I'm very sorry about the dogs but as we told you we had lots of bad experience with pets and therefore changed our policy. Also you had two very large dogs which you told us haired a lot so I hope you can understand our decision. Happy that you liked anything else though!

I highly recommend this Bach with its brand new updated kitchen, big screen TV with literally dozens of current movies available to watch. Ocean view from the living room window and ocean view from the bedroom windows, awesome!

The home was very nicely presented.
