Spacious yard, cozy living space, pet friendly, great location
Only long-term renters (monthly). Send INQUIRY first before booking request. We prefer to pre-screen guests.
The house is on 1/2 acre property just outside the city limits. We maintain a Gold Medal Habitat Hero yard that is bird-friendly and filled with trees, shrubs, and many indigenous plants.
Comfy platform double bed, new windows, wood accent walls.
Functional kitchen that goes well beyond a kitchenette.
Piano in the living room.
House is best for one or two guests.
Other caveats: There are electric power lines that cross the property. This is a remodeled double-wide modular. Some lots in the area have multiple families living on them. No air conditioning. Definitely not a property for upscale amenities, but we love it. We believe in providing an affordable monthly rental space to wonderful people on a budget.
This is our second stay at the property and we will come back again. It is close to the foothills and not far from town! The layout of the house and garden work very well for a couple, and also my daughter's dog loves it too. It is clean, has everything one needs and a great ambiance. Thank you for letting us stay in your home.
Based on our two-week stay in the middle of the summer, we found this place very much as advertised, and well priced for the area. We enjoyed the spacious living quarters, especially the convenient and well stocked kitchen and bathroom/laundry room. The house has a comfortable bed and a good shower. It is conveniently located near the western edge of town, with an easy drive into Old Town. It is near Horsetooth Reservoir, with hiking and swimming, views of the mountains, and a great (and dog-friendly) local brewery/beer garden, Stodgy's. It has an enjoyable natural garden, well suited to pets; fenced, with lots of room to roam.
During our mid-summer visit very hot weather left the interior quite warm in the middle of the day, although cool evening weather in combination with a fan made the evenings fine. Our very communicative and helpful host offered to help with purchase of air conditioning unit, although (as we were usually out during the days) we did not pursue the offer.

We are educators who teach at nearby colleges, but who rent when we travel.
Near hiking and biking trails, CSUâs west campuses, 3 miles from downtown, and 3 miles from the center of CSUâs main campus.
An eclectic working-class neighborhood of retirees, artists, immigrant families, etc. Density on some of the lots is high due to multiple families living there, and most of the houses are modular.
Guests seem to enjoy the genuineness of the area. Although low income, the neighborhood feels safe, and the nights are quiet.
