Private guest house! This Is your own little home away from home! Quaint retreat
10 minutes drive from downtown Fort Collins. In central Laporte, walking distance to the Poudre River, Me Oh My Coffee and Pie, or even the Swing Station to see local live music. Ride bicycles to the Poudre River Trail down the street to all your favorite Fort Collins breweries in less than 30 minutes. 25 minutes drive to the Mishawaka Amphitheater. 10 minutes drive to CSU campus. Also, minutes from Lory State Park. This is a great location for those who enjoy all things nature and also the Fort Collins city life! This guest house is located on a family property 1acre homestead. If farm smells make you uncomfortable this may not be the place for you. There are free ranging hens on property as well.
Easy check in and immaculate place. It's just outside of Fort Collins in a quiet part of town. It's in an extremely convenient spot for hiking or going into town to eat.
Lovely guest house. The only weird thing is that you have to walk through the small bedroom to get to the large bedroom. It's only a problem if you have a teenage girl that takes forever to get dressed :)
House was very cute and clean. Second bedroom was not what I would consider a second bedroom at all, it was more of a utility room sort of off of the bedroom and didnât have any sort of window or separate entrance (you had to go through the small âbedroomâ to even get to the other one).
We had an easy one night stay. The property is exactly as described and the chickens were the best part (in our opinion). Exactly what we were looking for.
My husband and I had an amazing time, our kid felt like he was at home the whole time. It was a great place to stay and we will recommend it to all of our friend and family! The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and the location was perfect
Laporte is just outside of Fort Collins and this property makes for a quick drive to many activities. It was clean, with a well stocked kitchen. There is a grocery store across the street. The owner has friendly dogs and chickens. We really enjoyed the location.
I was impressed with the whole scene. The place was clean clean, we loved the chickens and the dogs such a friendly atmosphere. Our host was very friendly very helpful and just a genuine nice person. The small town of La Porte was awesome. Restaurant and gas station right down street and grocery store right across street. This place definitely gets ten out of ten great place to stay
House was very clean and very organized. Everything was labeled for ease of use. Great selection of kitchen machines and dishes. I will for sure to stay there again.
The host/family were extremely welcoming and friendly! Location was perfect for us being so close to Ft. Collins and the state park. Home was clean and a good size with alot of items provided. I would definitely recommend.
Also, our car had a million bugs in the grill and their chickens did a fantastic job detailing đ
Very pleased we found this guesthouse in Laporte, CO. It was the perfect place for us to stay and visit with our grandson. Clean and comfortable, it provided a nice, âhome away from homeâ atmosphere to spend some time with him. Anna was a great host! There was good communication, instructions and she was very responsive to my various questions. I highly recommend if you need a place to stay while visiting the Fort Collins area.
The guest house was so amazing! We will definitely be back! So clean, cozy, comforting, and we loved all of the custom touches and furnishings not to mention the beautiful chickens!!!! Thank you!!!
Cute property with lots of chickens in front of building. It was very conveniently located near Me Oh My Pie and our training. But a few things weren't quite right. The second bedroom wasn't really a bedroom, but more of a utility room with a twin bed in it. You had to go through that room to get to the master bedroom with the queen bed. We were cold the entire time there and had a hard time adjusting the heat. I woke up cold and had to put on my coat because the bed only had a very thin blanket. We didn't find the additional blankets until the next morning because they were stored in the living room. (This is a bit on us but perhaps they could be stored in the bedrooms so it's obvious.) The bathroom had a rotating fan instead of a vent, which doesn't remove the moisture.
Farm chic with the 3 Câs at the base of the Poudre River
This place has the charm of living the country life with all three Câs, clean, comfortable and convenient. The bathroom compares to any 5 star hotel and the kitchen was chock full of all amenities, including fresh eggs from the multi colored chickens. Although an air conditioner is provided, I suggest you open the window & breath the mountain air that comes down from the Poudre River road, the entrance just a few miles down the road. The property is within walking distance to the grocery store & many good restaurants. The hosts live on the property and will give you as much privacy as you need but I initiated contact with them for knowledge of the area, which they were happy to give.
Property well groomed. A tiny to no smell from chickens she keeps but she says this in her description. The chickens are free range during the day and are so much fun to watch. Her 2 dogs were very nice and were great chicken herders. One would stay with the chickens while the other patrolled the perimeter. The young one would check on us also and keep the chickens off the patio. Too funny and entertaining to describe well. Anna herself is a pretty neat person who has diverse differences in her career. She is so interesting to talk with. Hard working good person.
This cute little stay was a farm style guest house with the comforts of home in a quiet town North of Fort Collins. Large size bathroom with heated floors were amazing. Size of the place was perfect for us and our two small dogs. Offers washer/dryer, plenty of windows and well lit, 2 comfy couches, a large yard area for kids to play and dogs. Has everything you need to cook and added comfort! Cute patio to relax and sit by a wood burning outdoor stove or enjoy the lit area for some drinks and relaxing. The place is very clean and located in a quiet and safe area. It is a truly adorable vacation spot for anyone looking to explore the Rocky Mountains, near the Cache La Poudre River, great bike trails, located near a coffee/breakfast spot (next door) and grocery store across the street. pizza/gas station and bar also within the block. Conveniently located to downtown Fort Collins. The owner's are great people and take very good care of the property and were very respectful and kind. Chickens free roaming was the cutest and never a bother. The family dogs were very friendly as well. Highly recommend this home to traveling couples, or small family. You will love it!
