Cabin was fantastic and host very responsive to questions. Views were amazing! Check-in and checkout easy. Had essentials for kitchen needed for cooking. Would highly recommend this cabin.
What a wonderful family vacation. The cabin is beautiful with breathtaking views. Short drive to all of the main attractions. My grandbabies loved the Anakkeesta mountin coaster park along with the Sevierville city park. This city park is nothing I have ever seen in a city-huge pool with diving boards, water slides, bowling, splash pad, huge playground with grass cushy turf with concession stands and icecream-all for 6.00. Our family made some amazing memories here I will cherish forever
This was the perfect getaway to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday with her whole immediate family. The cabin offered breathtaking views, the perfect amount of space and awesome amenties like a pool table and an old-fashioned arcade game that both the young kids and the adults who are still kids at heart loved! Our host Karen was also accommodating and attentive during the check-in process and through our stay. We will definitely plan a future trip to Mountain View Manor.
The home was very clean and well kept. The only downside was the slightly steep grade to enter the cabin. I was in an ortho boot and it was difficult to make the transition from the car to the entrance of the cabin.
We loved our stay at this cabin! The views were awesome and the location couldnât be better. The only thing I would advise for future renters is that the driveway is EXTREMELY steep. We were all okay, my Toyota Corolla was the smallest of our vehicles and it did fine but I definitely bottomed out every time. This cabin is wonderful, the owner was extremely quick to respond with any questions we had, and was definitely worth every penny. The driveway is the only thing you might want to ask the property owner more about before booking.
The house was wonderful. The view was beautiful. The driveway is very steep. I know it says it online but just want to point it out again. The only problem for us is that we donât have any streaming services so we could only watch TV in the living room. I realize that is not a problem for most but it was us. The internet went out one night and we had to use or personal hotspot to watch TV. The next day it was working again. I still give the place 5 stars because it is a very nice place.
We had a great time at the cabin in Pigeon Forge. While in a development it was secluded feeling with cabins not easily seen from decks and windows. The communication with the host was very quick and effective. The house is very comfortable with two sets of carpeted stairs and a door to the outside from every room! The turn into the driveway is a little tricky but doable with front or 4wd, probably with Rwd if dry or you get a little momentum. We had 4wd and a hitch rack on our expedition and we managed to get in and out. We heard a number of unique wild birds that really was enjoyable (there are actually trees adjacent to the cabin...not stacked next door to another home. We hope we will be able to return again soon.
Karenâs cabin was the perfect selection. We wanted to relax and unwind not do a lot of site seeing. The cabin was very comfortable and had great amenities like a pool table, video game, and hot tub! They really allowed us to unwind and enjoy family time. Thanks for a great property and experience! Would definitely recommend this house!
The cabin was exactly what we needed. Traveling with my husband and our two kids. The cabin was large enough to spread out and relax. We didnât cook while we were there but the kitchen was equipped with the essentials needed if we had decided to cook. The beds were comfortable.Yes, the driveway is steep but we found that if we came from up the hill we didnât drag or have any issues. The cabin was close enough to town to attractions, restaurants and shopping that we didnât dread the drive. It was also far enough that it was quiet and could enjoy time on the deck.We were focused on spending time with our kids (one in college and one just graduated high school). The pool table and other games were great in the evenings. Our other activities were Dollywood, exploring Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg, hiking, UTV trail ride with Off-Road Gatlinburg (highly recommend), Pirates Voyage, and the guys made knives at Iron Mountain Metal Craft while the girls shopped.Thank you Karen for the use of your cabin - we love our stay!
The property had everything that we needed for our trip to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area. We loved the location, it was perfect for our group. We wanted to be outside of the busy downtown areas but still be conveniently located to the National Park. The property was quiet and had good views of the sunset over the smokies.
There were a couple hiccups with our stay, but Karen was extremely responsive and helpful to try to make it right.
My name is Karen and I was born and raised in South Louisiana. I enjoy getting to the mountains as much as possible because there's just something about breathing mountain air! When I'm not working or traveling I'm usually spending time with my 4 Grandchildren. They keep me young.
After visiting the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area, I knew I would love a place for not only myself and my family to enjoy, but also other travelers. When I saw this property I knew it was the one. The views of the mountains and the design of the cabin was exactly what I was looking for.
The location with the views just can't be beat! It's amazing you get this view without having to travel to the top of a mountain. The firepit is perfect for cool nights. And the gameroom/theater room is pure perfection!
