Thank you for your feedback. We’re glad you found the unit nice and updated, though we were surprised by the comment regarding size. The condo is nearly 1,000 square feet, which is over 600 square feet larger than a typical hotel room on the island—to accommodate groups seeking comfort, space, and amenities at a fair value. As for the view, the listing clearly notes that it is a garden view, and the unit is located within walking distance to scenic trails and several of Maui’s most beautiful beaches, a convenience and experience that many of our guests deeply appreciate but you found disappointing. We strive to provide an honest and transparent experience, and we rely on thoughtful, balanced feedback to continue doing so. While we understand personal preferences vary, we hope future guests will consider the full range of offerings and value before forming a conclusion.

What a beautiful place to stay. Cannot find a better place to stay.

Place is perfect location in Maui. Place is decked out and is like brand new. Great renovations. We stay in Bay Villas every year and this is the best unit we’ve ever stayed in. Couldn’t be better. Bacci ball on the lawn was the icing on the cake!

Perfect Spot in Kapalua!

We absolutely loved our stay! The condo was updated, clean, and well equipped for a week long stay in Kapalua. The location can't be beat - it's the set of condos closest to the Montage and less than a 5 minute walk to Kapalua Bay Beach. Bedroom is big enough to comfortably fit a full sized crib (we brought our 16 month old) and bathroom is very generously sized. Will stay here again and again on all future Kapalua trips!

a fantastic stay in Kapalua

Our family enjoyed a wonderful stay at Kate's condo in Kapalua in mid-February. The property itself is extremely clean, well-equipped (from kitchen goods to great air mattresses for our kids), and comfortable. Having a washer and dryer in-unit is always such a plus travelling with kids, and these worked great. The condo also had all the beach gear we needed, and the pool is right nearby and very lovely as well. The location is fantastic - it was easy to access, parking was never an issue, and you're a short drive from the Honolua Store as well as institutions like The Gazebo for breakfast (get there early!). The Kapalua Coastal Trail is practically steps from the lanai, it's an easy walk to Kapalua Bay Beach, and an easy drive from access to Honoloa Bay or slightly longer drives to hikes such as the Nakalele Blowhole. Best of all however is host Kate herself - she was responsive, helpful, and lightning-fast any time we reached out with a question. We arrived during the tail end of some very wild, stormy weather on the islands and it was a bit iffy as to whether roads would all be open, and Kate even checked in on us to ensure we'd arrived safely. We absolutely recomend the property and hope we get the chance to return in the future.

Wonderful

We had a great time at this beautiful condo! Great location, we would walk to the Montage & Ritz Carlton for meals and cocktails. Very nice walking trails right out your back door. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend!

Perfect location, great access, lovely accommodations

Don't pass up this property! I heard some KBV were dated, but not this one! The owners know how to host and have great attention to detail. I'm a stickler on hairdryers, blenders, mattresses, and showers. We were not disappointed, and you can count on a great experience here. We loved tennis, golf, and daily run/walks. The beach is outstanding and not crowded. If you need to communicate with the owner - which is rare - response is immediate and helpful. Aloha!

Wonderfully appointed property right next to the Montage

This unit was sparkling clean with all brand-new furnishings. The owners were extremely responsive and communicative and provided us all of the information we needed to easily access the property. It was a lovely and peaceful stay.

Perfect condo in West Maui

We loved this condo! It was perfectly located with walking distance to Kapalua beach, and a short driving distance to local markets, restaurants, and stores. The property's pools were also wonderful when we needed a break from the beach. The condo itself is exactly as advertised and was SPOTLESS when we arrived. We will definitely be back!

Loved it!

Perfect! Loved the large grass area out back door. Loved the open, airy layout, great a/c, nice appliances, big shower, and huge tv. Access to Oneloa beach and cliff jumping a short walk away. We’ll rent again!
