Private Beach - Beachside Cottage on Barnstable Harbor

Romantic getaway or private retreat... Completely renovated, quintessential Cape Cod cottage. This 400 sq ft bungalow steps from a private beach is nestled beside Mass Audubon Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary. Open living spaces, two large decks plus a separate stone patio with gas fire pit, provide space to spread out and enjoy the property. Kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, hiking, whale watch cruising, or simply relaxing on our private, natural sandy bay-side beach are just a few of your options here

The space:
Expertly designed and decorated in light and leisurely Cape Cod style, your cares will melt away as you enjoy the views from every vantage point. Perfect for a couple and either an additional adult or two small children (willing to sleep on the two twin-sized air mattresses provided or the comfortable sectional couch). We provide a high chair, Graco "Pack and Play" , and baby bath if required. There is a 3 piece bathroom with an additional spacious and private enclosed outdoor shower (recommended). The kitchen comes equipped with a propane gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, and is fully stocked with cooking utensils and dinnerware. There is a new propane grill on the rear deck for your personal use and a great picnic table for outdoor dining and cocktails. Enjoy!

As part of the Cape Cod Village cottage community, we are one of approximately 20 unique bungalows situated on acres of shared private land including an expansive private beach and open common spaces for relaxation and enjoyment. Life here revolves around the beach, the views, and all it has to offer

Other things to note:
We live in the neighboring town of YarmouthPort just 3 miles/10 minutes away from the cottage, and so are available by phone, text or personally to answer any and all questions our guests may have prior to and during their stay.

We ask that all guests please continue to use the sanitizing cleansers and cleaning materials provided to keep the spaces and living quarters in safe and healthy condition for themselves and others.

Thorough and intensive cleaning takes place between all guest stays. Please do your best to keep the spaces clean and sanitized during your stay. Special concern is appreciated for the health and safety of the people cleaning after your departure. Thank you.

High priority is given to the privacy and respect of our neighbors and the other members of the community. Gatherings are not permitted at the cottage spaces or beach. Thank you for your consideration.

Traditionally, Cape cottage rentals tend to require that renters provide their own sheets/linens and towels. However, we realize that this may not be feasible for all our guests, so we provide sheet sets for the queen bed and twin-sized air mattresses, pillows, blankets, as well as towels sufficient for the length of your stay, all included in the rental cost. For your convenience, there is an outdoor clothesline for airing and drying as desired. Blankets and towels provided are not intended for beach use. We do provide beach towels, chairs and a beach umbrella for your use. For guests that stay for more than one week, used towels and linens will be collected and fresh replacements delivered on a weekly basis. We are also conveniently located to many food, variety and specialty store options to meet your shopping needs.
