A really wonderful location with direct sea access and lovely views making it very special. The owner and person who checked us in were very helpful. A family holiday very much enjoyed by all.
We came with our family group to celebrate college graduations. We had a marriage proposal on the dock at this villa!! We loved the cat that came to visit us daily. The location of the villa to restaurants and shops and the views were incredible!!
The property was great for a large family vacation including two young families with altogether 7 kids a and one set of grandparents. One large apartment with 3 bedrooms, one smaller apartment with 2 bedrooms and a studio for the grandparents. Each one with at least one bathroom and a kitchen. The pool was much appreciated by the kids, it was even possible to bathe in April, we were very lucky with the weather. Rental car is very advisable. Great location for groups of family and/or friends.
We were 4 families staying at Villa Alexia and it could not have been more perfect. The property has plenty of space for everyone to be together or find their own quiet nook.
A lovely comfortable place to stay for a multigenerational family holiday. The Villa was exactly as described in info - next to the sea, with its own small rocky beach, wonderful pool and outside eating/catching up areas. Very helpful owners.
A perfect holiday property. We had the most amazing holiday. Maria was friendly and very accommodating. The location was superb. The property was well equipped and beautifully decorated.
A fantastic relaxing holiday in a beautiful villa!
A stunning setting, situated by the water yet having a good size pool gave us the best of both worlds! Very spacious inside with air conditioning throughout for some respite from the 39C most of the week! Very clean and a maid service twice in the week was very impressive. We hired small motor boats from Nissaki and being able to tie them to the next door jetty made loading smaller children etc easy. A lovely BBQ area for long lunches under the shade of the tree and a beautiful terraced area on the top floor for morning coffee and afternoon tea. All in all eleven very happy holidaymakers and looking forward to our next visit. Thank you Maria and Spiros for everything!
Villa Alexia is in a dream location. It is right on the beach so you fall asleep at night listening to the waves but is also very private because the cove is difficult to access unless you are staying at the villa. The outside space is amazing with the elevated outside dining area that was perfect for breakfast, shady spots to relax and a huge amount of space to enjoy the wonderful sunshine. The pool is the best we have experienced in a villa and is long enough to actually swim some lengths.
The villa has everything you need, beds were extremely comfortable, sitting room had lovely big sofas and the rooms have amazing views - we didn't turn the TV on once!
We always stay in Nissaki, the area has great tavernas, a good supermarket and bakery and is lush and green.
Thank you Maria for a wonderful holiday and going the extra mile when we made a couple of requests.
We had the most wonderful stay at the beautiful Villa Alexia! The views are to die for and the website pictutures cannot do it justice.
We were a family of 8 with young adult children and 50 something parents(who were prepared to pay for it all!!) We all enjoyed the infinity(!)pool and also enjoyed swimming in the sea off the outside beach outside the house, though this is abit rocky as others have stated but still glorious once you are in. We ate in a few times but mostly enjoyed the local tavernas, especially Glyfa, which we could walk to. Fabulous fresh fish and lovely service. We also enjoyed Vitamins for great Greek food.
We hired a boat from Fontas boats who did have a boat for all of us to fit on. This was a great success and it was so nice to swim off the boat and also to lunch at the many sea side tavernas, some really only easily assessable by boat. Even on very hot days, the sea breeze as you motor along is beautifully cooling.
Spiros and Maria were always in touch by email and ironed out any small problems we had as well as organising the taxies for our various arrivals. A car is a great necessity here as taxis are very expensive compared to the cost of everything else. The villa was very well equipped with efficient air conditioning, even in the lounge. The local supermarket, Aphrodite's who were very helpful and about 4 miles away, would deliver as well and we had breakfast of pastries and bread delivered most days.
All in all a wonderful and relaxing holiday in the fabulous Villa Alexia and we would love to go back. Thank you Maria and Spiros- it was brilliant!!

Paradise in Corfu!! Canât wait to return!
When our son broke his arm just before our holiday were overwhelmed when Maria and Spiros went the extra mile to try accommodating us another date. They were very easy to contact and always friendly and helpful.
The villa itself was dreamlike!! We hired a car which was helpful as we had young children and the walk to the nearest restaurant was a bit too far.
When at the villa we used 2 out of the 3 apartments and found they met our needs perfectly. The kitchen in the bigger upstairs apparentment was well equipped and we cooked meals regularly during our stay. The outside BBQ was also lovely however there were a few pesky wasps around.
The beds were very comfortable in all the rooms with very good air conditioning throughout. The smart TV was great as the children could watch films on Netflix in the evening (upstairs apartment).
Outside the pool was fantastic! Just as you see in the pictures. In September it was warm enough our children still played in it all day!. There are many places to relax outside with beds by the pool, table and chairs by the bbq, a table and chairs on the upper balcony and comfy recliners overlooking the beach.
The beach is made up from pebbles but the water is crystal clear and perfect for snorkelling. My husband and son spent many hour fishing and caught many small pretty fish.
There are a few shops a short drive away. One delivered a welcome basket to the property with wine which was a nice touch. They seemed very keen to find out how big our party was (2 different members of staff asked this question with little interest in who was traveling but possibly how much trade they would get from us) and we felt a little pressured in having to use their shop. Shop was ok but no prices on items.
We found the shops in ipsos had more choice and seemed cheaper.
Our week at the villa was just what we needed to relax and unwind. If you like the pictures book it! It is as beautiful as you hope it will be! We really hope to stay again in the future and have recommended Villa Alexia to a number of families we know.
Thank you Spiros, Maria & Costa. We had the most perfect stay!
It was very well organised with lots of help getting shopping delivered, despite the supermarket web page not yet set up. Ditto boat hire as we were there just pre season, but boats were launched nonetheless. The villa was excellent for our needs with studio for grandparents and apartments for each of the two young families. Plenty of equipment for catering. Lastly, thanks to Maria and her family, any requests were dealt with immediately.
The views from this home are exactly as pictured in the listing. It is one of very few homes on the East side of the Island that is on the water, with its own beach access and a large private pool. The home is great for families of all ages - we had two children and an infant stay in the unit comfortably. The set up also allows for multiple families to stay together across the three separate units. Spiros and Maria were great hosts and easy to communicate with, they even arranged our transport and provided a welcome basket of goods waiting for us when we arrived. I would recommend this property to others.
Our two families - 4 adults, 7 kids - spent a fabulous week at Villa Alexia this half term. The property is quite old fashioned so donât expect a modern style villa - but thatâs how we like it. Facilities wise it has everything families need and is comfortable and cool. But donât come here for that, come for the location and aspect which is absolutely fantastic. Having our own pool, beach and privacy in such a beautiful setting was magical. And itâs a special place for nature lovers. Lizards, Sardinian Warblers and butterflies by day, Scops owls, bats and moths by night plus loads to see with a snorkel. And the location is brilliant for exploring the north of Corfu - from the countless coves, beaches and tavernas to the mountains. We will be back - thank you Maria, Costos, Spiros for a fabulous stay.
"Six months ago when I began planning a trip to Corfu, I looked at many villas for rent and finally decided on Villa Alexia, primarily because of its size and close proximity to the sea. I could not have chosen a better place.
Our group of eight adults consisted of two couples from France and a family from the United States. We had all been vaccinated but with Covid still hanging over our heads, the villa provided enough space for everyone to feel at ease while offering wonderful gathering spots outside......either upstairs on the balcony, by the pool or downstairs at the large table under the trees. Our hosts, Maria and Spiros, were always available to answer any questions and provided us with invaluable information, such as where to get Covid tests before our return home. They even generously offered a cake and champagne for one of the guest's birthday on our first night of arrival.
The villa is equipped with everything one needs. Having three kitchens , one upstairs and two downstairs, is an added plus. We often cooked and it was helpful to take dishes from downstairs to the table by the sea. We could also use the dishwasher in the back apartment when we had too many dishes to carry upstairs.
A couple of practical considerations for those wishing to rent the Villa: Corfu is not flat and there are hills everywhere. Because the villa is built on a hillside, it has many steps. For those with mobility issues (bad knees, for example), the apartment or studio downstairs is an ideal option. The wonderful sea at the doorstep is also a great asset but the shore and seabed are rocky and can be slippery. Some wore Crocs to wade into the sea but they became cumbersome for swimming. It definitely would be helpful to have a pair of water shoes.
An added bonus for animal lovers: a marvelous Tabby that we named Palamaki visited every day and showered us with purr-fect affection.
I can't believe that it has been two weeks since I first arrived at the villa. Our time there was like a dream and we certainly hope to return some day.
We really enjoyed our stay at villa Alexia. We loved the ability to swim off the small pebble beach just outside the gate of the house. The water is clear and beautiful. We loved watching the moon from the top terrace at night. The owner is super helpful and responded very quickly to all requests. The only thing I would say it that the top kitchen is really tiny if you plan on cooking for a large group. This also limits the number of people who can have breakfast in the kitchen (2 at most). Nevertheless, there is an outdoor barbecue which we enjoyed, and the outdoor dining table right by it is in a lovely spot. The house is really quirky with its three separate units (it did not bother us). The houseâs biggest asset is its location, with its special direct access to the sea, and the outside space.
This villa is very unique and situated in a stunning location. We have been to Corfu many times in the last couple of years, and we wanted to visit again and chose this villa for its location and size so that we were able to cerebrate our wedding/honeymoon with our family members.
The owners were very generous and provided a beautiful cake and champagne so that we could toast our marriage. And complimentary transfers to the air port. It was very thoughtful and kind of them.
The villa is split into three apartments, all of them with well stocked kitchens and plenty of clean towels in the bedrooms. Being split like this worked well for us. It gave all of us some privacy, we then all came together to eat on the first floor, the metal balcony area on the first floor was a great place to meet and socialize as a family. We spent one evening watching the most amazing thunder and lighting storm, all very exciting. There are plenty of places around the villa to just sit and relax or read a book.
The pool is a good size for swimming , its location looking over the sea was amazing. The pool was a good size and was used frequently, its a beautiful spot to just sit and get the most amazing views over the sea to Albania. Or just watching the sun come up at day break. One morning I witnessed a whale breaking water out to sea.
Although the local area was somewhat quiet we still found lots to do. We hired a car for a couple of days to explore and to visit Kalami and to Sidari to see the Chanal d' Amour.
We also hired a boat for the day to go fishing and to have lunch in Agios Stefanos. I can highly recommend this place. This was a beautiful traditional Greek harbor. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and a well stocked gift shop to brows for glass/ceramics or olive wood products.
Although the weather could have been better it did not spoil our holiday we did have a fantastic week and really enjoyed our stay at Villa Alexia.
Maria and Spiros are great hosts. Thanks for a great holiday. MB
Villa Alexia is in a stunning location with direct access to the sea.
Itâs beautifully private and has fantastic views. We loved the various areas to sit for meals, drinks, sunbathing or relaxing in the shade. There are several really lovely tavernas within walking distance and we were able to order groceries online so thereâs no need for a car.
Itâs nice and clean and the beds are comfy. The main kitchen is a little small for such a large villa but maybe thatâs a function of being split in to 3 apartments. But we ate out most nights as we found the tavernas to be good value and the food was delicious.
Superb position with direct access to sea, lovely pool. Excellent facilities for dining outside. Excellent supermarkets within one mile. Water sports and boats available nearby.
A unique location: Less than 30 meters from the sea beautiful views to the sea and Corfu town at the very far end. Enjoy privacy, serenity and quietness. As it is rented as one unit, large groups of friends and extended families can enjoy being together and also separate when they wish to!
