This quaint Craftsman Style House/ Cottage sits in an older neighborhood in South Salinas. The bedroom/living space has access to a walk in closet with dresser. The spacious kitchen/dining area also has access to the patio flower garden where you can listen to birds chirping while you have your morning coffee or tea. The bathroom vanity area is separate from the shower stall/toilet space with 2 steps. The Cottage sits in a secure fully fenced yard and entry to the property is through the patio gate. There is a friendly pet cat on the property.
Super cozy. Diana is a great host and really goes the extra mile. The property is a beautiful garden and the neighborhood has a quaint and friendly vibe.
Diana was a great host and the cottage is wonderful. Her garden out back is gorgeous and the cottage has lots of natural light in the kitchen / dining area. The bed was super comfortable and check in was a super easy and smooth process.
The cottage was cozy! We barely wanted to get out of bed. Despite it being a smaller place, there was plenty of room for everything we needed. The location is nice and close to downtown Salinas and easy to get around. Diana was a great host and was very thorough with instructions.
I loved my stay at the Cozy Cottage, the vibe is exactly what the name implies, cozy. The bed was comfortable, the towels were exorbitant, very quiet neighborhood. I could live there!
I am retired and drove for Uber/ Lyft to pass the time and meet some great people. The Cozy Cottage has been a great way to also meet and accommodate visitors to the area. I enjoy traveling but have not had too much time. I did grow up in New Mexico and found employment in Salinas in 1989.. I do appreciative of the difference in temperatures I enjoy cooler weather.
I rented this house for 8 years from a dear friend at that time he asked if I would be interested in buying it in the future. I didn't hesitate to say yes. I asked what price and he kept his word and sold it to me for the price from 8 years back. I truly am blessed all this has become possible with honest people and true friends.
I liked this home because it has so much character and I've always loved gardening. The ample back yard has loads of space and I've got plenty of time to spend there now being retired. It also a work in progress being an older home, but, I do have many plans.
