This River Mountain Lodge studio has a beautiful and modern interior with luxurious furniture, wood paneling, lots of natural light, and rustic decor, and with its location, this home is perfect for couples on a ski vacation!

Use the blender in the full kitchen to blend up a slushy cocktail then head out to the private balcony to kick back in an Adirondack chair to take in the fresh mountain air with a good novel. You'll love watching your favorite DVD movies on the large flat-screen TV after an afternoon on the slopes. Speaking of slopes, this home is within walking distance from the 8-Passenger BreckConnect Gondola and Snowflake lift, so after enjoying a delicious breakfast, throw on your ski gear and head up the mountain to enjoy the white powder ski runs - beginners will love trying out their ski legs on slopes like Sundown and Bonanza. Afterward, thaw out with a good soak in the shared hot tub, steam in the community sauna, or take a dip in the pool.

Nearby, downtown Breckenridge is waiting with all kinds of family-friendly activities, awesome restaurants, and unique shops to explore. Stop into places like Street Station, Main Street Mall, and Towne Square Mall for some upscale shops and bookstores. Empire Burger, The Canteen Tap House and Tavern, Downstairs At Eric's, and Flip Side Breckenridge are all local favorites to check out.

Great location

Loves skiing down four oclock and only having to cross the street. Hot tubs were awesome and being able to walk to town was easy. Loved underground parking. Room was perfect had everything we needed plus washer/dryer.

Decent, centrally located

Used this as base for hiking in Summit County. Full kitchen was big selling point, which gave me control over early breakfasts before heading out on early morning hikes. Gotta get off the peaks by noon! Gym is mainly just cardio machines and a small rack of dumbells. Free parking below ground was easy to access. Place is just off main street, so all the tourist stuff is a stone's throw away.

Spring Skiing

The building is in a great location and close to everything. The room was fine - could use some TLC with paint and moldings. The room was over 90 degrees when I checked in so I opened windows to cool the room which worked. When I left to go skiing for the day I closed the windows because the room is on the first floor and when I got back the room was over 90 degrees again. The other problem is that the room is right on the street and when the street sweeper goes by a plume of dust comes right in the open windows.

Small and Noisy but Clean and Functional

The W101 condo sits on the first floor right at the entrance of the River Mountain Lodge. As you can imagine, this lends way to lots of traffic and noise, because it is right next to the portico where all the cars pull in to check in. Further, the condo windows and glass door face Park Ave. To which we found out is the through street for most of the traffic passing through Breck. This means night and day street noise is especially difficult when you need to leave the windows open to cool it off inside. That said, if you can deal with the noise, the rest of the condo was great. Everything is in working order, not fancy but working. The table and chairs are a bit bulking for the space making it feel smaller than it is, but manageable. Personally, I would not stay here again. However, if you can deal with the noise it is a great place to stay.

Great location

This condo has a perfect location. The Main Street is a few steps away, the ski bus stops literally in front your window, and it's a walking distance to the gondola. It's on the first floor and the first condo from the lobby, so it's easy to walk from the room to the ski bus in ski boots. The building has a very nice and large lobby. The font desk staff stores the skis for you. There is tea and coffee all day long. The room is great for one person or a couple. The kitchen has everything. The bed was comfortable. There is a lot noise coming from the street (cars and so), but I guess that's an exchange for a walking distance to everywhere. Just don't plan for having the windows open much. Also, only a street view from the room/balcony. Not a big deal if you are spending all day skiing or hiking, but if you plan to relax in the room more, then you may want to have a better view.

We loved the location, and the kitchen was beautiful. Although the sink was clogged when we first arrived, they were quick to respond and fix it. But the shower curtain was awful, and we let them know, but they didn’t replace it. The carpet was definitely not in good shape. But the hot tub was wonderful. Be aware that if you rent with Vacasa you won’t be able to deal directly with the front desk staff but will need to call Vacasa (at another location) for assistance. Check in was also at another location, which was a bit inconvenient. Also, be sure to bring some coffee with you as there’s a maker but no coffee to buy on-site. But the grocery store is super close. Overall, we’ll be back and had a wonderful time!

Location of room is very convenient, but give up slightly on privacy. had to keep the curtains closed all the time. Located next to the street on first floor. Proxmity across the street to Four O'clock ski run at the end of the day was very nice.

Glad it wasn't cold

Great stay. Perfect location. Heater didn't work but I reported. I'm sure they will fix. Weather was mild. I identified myself as disabled and there were no stairs . Good, but the shower had no grab bar. You might want to address that. Excellent bartender and the tiki bar castaways behind the condo is highly recommended

This condo was decent for the price. The location is the best feature, right near Main Street. The condo is located on the first floor, right at the drive through reception so there is quite a bit of noise and traffic, not pleasant to sit on the porch.

You get what you pay for.

We arrived on a Saturday to find out that this unit is literally 5 feet from the bar/lobby. It was extremely noisy most nights. In addition, the "balcony" was of no use as it was right next to the sidewalk on the street. You could literally "high five" people walking outside. In addition to the bad location, the unit got very hot. We had to have maintenance disable the heat and sleep with a window open....even though it was 28 degrees at night. During the day this wasn't a problem. This unit also didn't have any power to the dishwasher. Hopefully this was corrected after we left. Lastly, the Wyndham folks told me I had to pay outside of the VRBO/Home Away site and pay them directly, which I did. I also bought the travel insurance for this trip because of possible icy road conditions. I found out that my travel insurance was not valid because VRBO/Home Away did not book the room.....I paid Wyndham directly. I would not stay at this property again. On the positive side, the property did have a very nice breakfast place with friendly staff and reasonable rates and location was perfect for shopping / dining.
