My sister and I go away together for a week every year. This cabin was very quiet and relaxing. We met several of the neighbors as we were taking walks around the neighborhood. They all friendly and welcoming.
We loved the cabin, it was so peaceful and beautiful, so clean, we cantvwait til we can come back and stsy again, i for sure will be telling my friends about this cabin, i loved the way it was decorated, there was a bird's nest on the porch. When we arrived and before we left, she had her babies out and flying.
Great cabin with wood deck. Love indoor wood burning fire place, full kitchen and living area. Also loved outdoor fire pit. It had all the necessities for home away from home. Lots of peace and quiet. A short drive to the lakes and hiking trails.
The cabin is in a beautiful forested area! Enjoyed our morning walks and our dog loved playing with the local ranch dog that patrols the community. The Americana/Farmhouse decor is very cute and the cabin is well stocked with the essentials.
We had a great stay at the cabin. The area was peaceful and all that we needed was available in the cabin. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future.
Didnât need anything except food, provided more than enough items. Even had coffee, sugar creamer. Most places donât. Cabin is in the pines, smelled so good, decorated American and country. Enjoyed cooler weather and evening showers. Host is very nice always available to communicate. Nice place to stay.
We really enjoyed the solitude. It was a little off the beaten path, but not too far. The cabin was very clean and had an adorable patriotic theme throughout. Well stocked. Janet was a very good host and gave great directions to the cabin. Loved our time there.
Our recent stay at "The Ranch" at Mead Ranch wonderful, as it was a perfect blend of activity and down time. From this cozy cabin as our "home base", my wife and I were able to mountain bike, go horseback riding, play pickleball, explore the Tonto Natural Bridge area, antique shop, and simply relax on the porch with our favorite hot or cold drink. The cabin was absolutely perfect for our 5-day stay, complete with any amenity we would need, and the peaceful location was far enough in the woods to provide a temporary escape from our hectic lives. The property owner was extremely responsive to any questions we had ahead of time, and we're already looking forward to another visit in the near future.
Absolutely wonderful! I don't think I have enough space to type out how great our experience was. :)
The cabin is exactly as described and we had a beautiful time relaxing and refreshing in the woods. The home is immaculately cleaned, beautifully decorated, the bathrooms are so nice and updated. The beds are very comfortable and so are the pillows. The living room furniture is situated just right to have a great time with family and relax by the fire or enjoy a nice movie. There was lots of snow when we arrived so our daughter had a great time making a snowman and playing in the snow. We are a small family with a teenager, 1 year-old baby, and small dog, and we all had a great time. Everything is well thought out and feels like home away from home. Our host, Janet, was absolutely amazing! We had an issue come up and she helped us get it resolved as best she could and was extremely helpful, even when it was late at night. We're so grateful for her hospitality and kindness.
We can't wait to go back and highly recommend.
We enjoyed our weekend stay at the Mead Ranch cabin. We saw beautiful Bluejays and petted the two âranch dogsâ who came for a visit. The only down side is the 8 miles of really rough dirt roads to get there. The washboard and deep rivets in the road was not good for the car and of course made the car look like it just entered the mud bog races. Even though the Owner and Host made us aware of the dirt roads when directions were sent, the rough terrain and ride wasnât great.
The cabin was well furnish with a lot of extras and we were advised that we could check in early at 2 pm rather than 4 pm, which worked better for us than 4 pm as we were already in Payson by noon. If you have a 4x4 or large truck the ride may not be an issue, but in snowy or icy conditions a 4x4 would be required. Fortunately, we booked it prior to snow season. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and loved the birds. I just wish there were more walking trails around this property and more space between properties.
The property was very complete and in a very quiet neighborhood. The county maintained roads to the property off of Highway 260 were in excellent condition. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.
