Kaanapali Luxury Vacation Rentals welcomes you to our beautiful Luana Garden Villas at the Honua Kai Resort.

This listing is for “two” separate neighboring villas, which is perfect for a multi-family vacation. Luana Garden Villas is the final phase of Honua Kai Resort & Spa, located on the stunning Kaanapali Beach on Maui’s western shores. The listing includes one Garden level and one upper level villa that will include 6 king beds, 6 baths and 2 sofa beds combined to accommodate up to 16 guests. Enjoy your own luxurious, fully furnished private homes set within the Honua Kai resort.

These luxurious villas are located within the 38 family-friendly acres of the Honua Kai Resort & Spa, designed with relaxation and memory-making in mind, offering guests an unmatched resort experience while proving residential living at its finest. These villas boasts over 2000 sq.ft of contemporary interior living space each with expansive western windows that open up to wide lanais, providing your family with plenty of room to enjoy the Maui lifestyle.

Both homes are fully furnished with everything you need for a luxurious Maui vacation including a gourmet kitchens to prepare your favorite meals.  The Lanais are equipped with outdoor kitchenettes and BBQ grills and plenty of lounging and dining spaces for your entire group. These homes include private garages and additional parking spaces and ensuite full size washers and dryers.

Resort amenities include a network of swimming pools, waterfalls and children’s shallow pool, 24 hour fitness facility, Duke’s beach house restaurant, and Whaler’s general store and Spa. Please note due to the recent Covid-19 pandemic, resort amenities may be subject to change or closure.

TAX
The State of Hawaii mandates a total tax of 17.962%. Excise tax is 4.172% and Transient Tax is 13.25% to be paid on all transient accommodations. Taxes are identified on the reservation confirmation (Subject to change). (The higher rate of 17.962% applies to all departures starting 1/1/2024 regardless of when the property was booked.

Taxes are paid to the state of Hawaii and County of Maui based on the guest’s dates of stay. Any changes to the current tax rate will be charged or refunded to the guests depending on the increase or decrease.

* 11B-The Living room Central ACs is not working and we have installed a portable AC for our guest's comfort. The rest of the villa's central AC is working fine. The replacement AC is due to be installed as soon as the new systems arrive. Our rates have been reduced due to the inconvenience.
*11D-The second master and guest bedroom Central ACs in unit 11D only are not working and we have installed a portable AC for our guest's comfort. The rest of the villa's central AC is working fine. The replacement AC is due to be installed as soon as the new systems arrive. Our rates have been reduced due to the inconvenience.

We have a collection of beautiful 1, 2 and 3 bedroom condos in the Hokulani and Konea towers along with several gorgeous Luana Garden villas within the Honua Kai resort.

Resort has a NO PET policy.

CANCELLATION:
Cancellation outside a 60-day period prior to arrival is subject to a 10% (of total) cancellation fee. Any cancellations made within the 60-day period may result in forfeiture of all monies paid. Please review the listing Terms and Conditions for more information. We highly recommend that all guests purchase a travel insurance policy. Cancelation policy is strictly enforced. All credit cards fees will be deducted before a refund is issued.


OCCUPANCY:
Additional Guests of any age (infants and toddlers included) are strictly prohibited without prior approval. If approved, a fee of $100+tax per day will be added to the reservation for each additional guest.

Our vacation stay was so comfortable in our two Villas. The spacious kitchen, living rooms and outdoor spaces worked well for our big family group. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms nice, and everything very clean. We appreciated the easy access to beach/pool towels and other beach items. The beach was an easy 10 min stroll away. We enjoyed the quiet area of our Villas and the pool close by. We cooked most meals ourselves during our stay, but the convenience of having food trucks across the street behind the property was a nice bonus!

We over looked the pool ! Beautiful clean and huge!We had several dinners at the house and all were wonderful! There was 9 of us so we rented both condo’s.The complex is right across to Slappy Cakes. We had breakfast several times there. You can walk.There is also a food truck park near by. All

5 Stars Across the Board

We booked our 2 villas before the Lahaina fire. After learning about the devastation we wanted to be respectful of those suffering but also wanted to support those that needed work so we were struggling with how to handle our reservation. After being asked to still come - we did and were so grateful. The communication with Fereshteh was awesome. The check-in process was easy and the villas were so clean and just as represented on the websites. The property has multiple pools, Dukes restaurant, easy walk to the beach and other stores. Highly recommend.

Clean, Spacious, Everything YOU Need

We booked the full building consisting of 4 villas for our family and friends for our wedding. We were in awe with how clean, spacious, and beautiful this place was. Even our wedding coordinator was surprised this existed in Honua Kai! There is no need to drive around for food or supplies...literally everything (food truck, supermarket, coffee, etc.) is walking distance which is great so you can enjoy the weather as well. There was a small pool in front of the villas that we took advantage of for the kids. The villas had detergent, floaties, pull cart/wagon, and beach chairs for our leisure. The resort also provides towels on a first come, first serve bases and must be returned/dropped off. The owner/mgmt were great with communication. The owner was sweet and gifted us a bottle champagne! Thanks for making us feel extra special!! Honestly no cons from our experience and would easily stay here again :)

It was great except we had roaches which I believe was a fluke but it was horrible trying to set up an exterminator and our dishwasher didn’t work they wanted to come fix but we just washed

Hi Kathleen, I’m very sorry you did not fully enjoy your stay. Unfortunately these unforeseen issues sometimes occur and we try our best to remedy them as quickly as possible so as to not affect our guests' stay. As we discussed at the time of your stay the issue came about because our previous guests unfortunately left a lot of open food and kept the doors open during their stay. We did offer to move your reservation to a different identical villa while we took care of the issue and you decided not to move. We also attempted to schedule for pest control to come by on 3 different occasions per your request but they were not permitted entry. We also offered to send engineering to fix the issue with the dishwasher and were not permitted entry. The villa has since been deep cleaned and the dishwasher is in good working order.

So great, we are looking to buy!

There is so much to say, it was amazing in every way. Long story short, now my whole family is legitimately looking at how we could sell everything we own and buy one of these villas. All the benefits of staying in a resort, without that tourist-y feeling. Very quiet and private but close walking distance to anything and everything. I cannot say enough good about this place. 5 stars is inadequate.

Great stay

Condos were spacious, extremely clean and great location. The large patios made for a perfect spot to enjoy meals. There are food trucks right across the street which made easy dinners. The condo is located in the back of the Honua Kai resort, so it was quiet and away from all the hotel crowd. The Honua Kai pools are easily accessible and were a staple for our family every afternoon. We were able to walk to some great beaches and Napoli and Kapula were just a short drive. Would definitely stay again.

Family Vacation

Most of the time places we have rented are not exactly as the pictures in the listing. This property didn’t disappoint us. It was perfect for our family. We rented 2 villas one up and one down for family of 13 - 6 adults and 7 kids ranging in ages 9-19. The pool area for our grouping of. Villas wasn’t crowded like main pools for high rise condos. Having garage parking right at our front door was very convenient and the beach stuff was a great bonus. My only complaint was the wrist bands. They were to big for the younger granddaughters and since we were using 2 condos it was a problem going between the condos since the bracelets only worked on one. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would love to go back.

These units are STUNNING! Incredibly well designed with everything you could possibly need. Our units were sparkling clean and luxurious. The indoor / outdoor spaces felt so comfortable and spacious and the quality of all the amenities were top-self and the location in general....tough to beat! The check-in process was so easy and our correspondence with the Owners was always quick and courteous. Roshy and his team made sure our stay was effortless and relaxing. We are counting the days to our return! Absolutely a 5 Star stay!
