Step inside to soaring ceilings, abundant natural light, and serene water views that greet you from the main living areas. The comfortable furnishings, warm design, and spacious layout make it easy to relax, recharge, and settle into lake life. Just steps from the home, a gentle path leads you to the private dock—your launching point for swimming, floating, paddling, or simply soaking in the peacefulness of the cove. Bring your own boat or tie up a rental, or take the provided paddle boat for a scenic cruise. Average water depth at the dock is 7 feet.

Great place for a multi-generation visit!

This well-equipped home is located in a lovely neighborhood. We enjoyed the deck, the use of a kayak and also swimming and relaxing by the dock. We cooked several meals and had most everything needed for food prep. The house was in close proximity to the State Park and everywhere else we wanted to go over the weekend. It was our first visit to Smith Mountain Lake, but we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful weeklong stay at this home! We're a family of five with teens and a tween, and the space was perfect for us. The house was clean, well-stocked as described by Casago, and located in a quiet area — most nearby homes were weekend residences, so our Sunday-to-Sunday stay was peaceful and relaxing. We loved being able to rent a boat and keep it at the dock overnight, and we also took the kayaks out for a lap around the cove. Overall, it was a relaxing and enjoyable vacation — just what we were hoping for!

Family friendly home

We had a great vacation with our small family. We loved the location in relation to the state park and went almost daily to let our toddler play at the beach front. We enjoyed the deck and the fire pit.

Great Family Escape

Very comfortable family-friendly house. Well appointed house, comfortable beds, and great location. Stairs are a bit steep throughout the house is my only concern (hard for my elderly parents). Otherwise we had a great stay!

Very nice!

We really enjoyed our stay. Clean and quiet. Great communication with owner. Easy check in. They had books, games, and toys for kids. We enjoyed using the kayaks, basement game room, and fire pit. The kids really enjoyed fishing off the dock and seeing the deer in the yard. Would recommend.

Family Gathering --3 Generations

This property was perfect for half of our large family gathering. We had little ones in this house, so were pleased to find books and games on the shelves. Although I have rented many times via VRBO, it has never been via a management company. Communication was excellent with Casago throughout the entire process.

Great location on SML and close to State Park. Clean home with great games for the family. Quiet cove was nice and the kids loved the kayaks and fishing off the pier. Appreciated great boat rental recommendations.

Lovely lake house

This is a beautiful home in a great part of Smith Mountain Lake. Everything is set up nicely, and there are plenty of games and things to enjoy for rainy days. The dock and the kayaks are fantastic. Our family had a lovely time at this property. The water pressure was a bit low at times. I'm not sure if it's a temporary or more permanent thing. I can say that the management team is very responsive and helpful. The only real criticism I would have is that the listing says it sleeps eight, but it feels like it really only fits seven. Maybe I missed a sleeper sofa or something. Otherwise, you'll have a great time at this location.

Well appointed and stocked home. Kudos for the reverse osmosis water filter (I'm very sensitive to foreign bacteria in water). We are now in love with Smith Mountain Lake!
