C'EST TOUJOURS BEAUCOUP ICI ... PÊCHER SUR VOTRE PIERRE PRIVÉE, LUMIÈRE LUMIÈRE SE DÉPLACE LE LONG DE LA PLAGE OU REGARDER UN COUCHER DE SOLEIL SUR LA BAIE FONDU EN NUIT STAR LIT.

Il n'y en a pas beaucoup ... Profitez de votre jetée de pêche privée éclairée, assistez à des levers de soleil spectaculaires sur le Golfe et à des couchers de soleil sur la baie de Little Drum. Et le meilleur de tous, si vous apportez votre bateau, vous pouvez lancer et vous garer à côté de la rampe de lancement privée pavée et laisser votre bateau garé à notre embarcadère privé.

Achevée en juin 2008, cette maison a deux très grands balcons couverts faisant face à Little Drum Bay. Regardez les enfants pêcher sur la jetée éclairée pendant que vous vous balancez dans le futon conçu pour accueillir deux adultes. Lisez votre livre préféré, faites une sieste ou sirotez votre boisson préférée tout en regardant les couchers de soleil spectaculaires.

À l'intérieur, vous pourrez vous détendre dans le plan d'étage spacieux et ouvert conçu pour accueillir des groupes de toutes tailles. La cuisine a des appareils tout en acier inoxydable. Les cuisiniers gastronomiques aiment pouvoir préparer leurs plats préférés, écouter leur musique préférée tout en admirant la vue sur la baie.

Trois chambres sont à l'étage mais une est en bas pour les arrivées occasionnelles tard dans la nuit ou les ronflements de papy.

La plage est à seulement 1, 5 pâtés de maisons. Chargez les chaises, le parapluie et la glacière et déposez-les sur la plage pour construire des châteaux de sable, faire de la planche de surf, pêcher ou tout simplement vous détendre et admirer la vue. Lorsque vous rentrez chez vous, rincez-vous sous la douche extérieure à l’eau chaude et froide.

À la fin de la journée, vous pourrez jouer à des jeux de société en famille, vous asseoir à la belle étoile, faire des smores au-dessus du feu dans le foyer ou regarder des films ou la télévision.

Parmi les autres activités proposées, vous trouverez des restaurants locaux, du golf putt-putt, Moody Gardens, le parc aquatique Schlitterbahn, le musée des forces aériennes confédérées et The Strand, une zone commerçante de classe mondiale à Galveston.

Best of both worlds!

We love this home on the bay and across the street from the beach! The kids enjoy crabbing right from the deck and the house has crabbing traps and a canoe for the guests use. We have been here many times and after this trip the entire family agreed this is our favorite VRBO rental!

Bay home w a view

Wonderful weekend getaway with family- kids age 2 to 86! Great bay home with a wonderful view of the bay and sunset providing great bird watching. Beach just a short walk away. We had a great time and hope to return.

Great Stay!

We highly recommend this home! It was beautiful staying right on the bay and out of the hustle and bustle of the city! We enjoyed the dock and sitting on the upper patio watching the sunsets! Our grandkids loved riding their scooters on the patio and it was great being so close to the beach! Most days the beach was pretty empty so we felt like we had it all to ourselves! We would love to stay again!

Wonderful Gulfside Property

My sister and I were surprising our parents with a trip to the beach and this was the perfect place for us. We took family pictures on the pier, got sunburned on the beach, went fishing and enjoyed the day. I didn’t see a fire pit but with the weekend being so humid and mosquito-y we didn’t spend too much time outside except the last night when we went fishing. If we ever went back to the gulf this is where we would stay.

Best ever!

This is the only place I will ever stay at Surfside. I love the owners and the place is perfect. Every time we stay here we build new outstanding memories!!! The owners are so awesome, especially if you need help or have questions. Their goal is to always make sure you have fun!!! The house is always spotless when we get there and we leave nothing but our footprints. I can’t wait for next time

Great House

Very clean and not a single bug indoors, in response to a recent review. The beds were comfortable and the house has everything you may need. Very fast internet and DISH network. My husband and son caught several redfish from their kayaks. We plan to return.

Escaped the Rat Race

We enjoyed our time here. It was tranquil and full of nature. We spent lots of time on the main deck watching the birds and fish. We liked being so close to the beach and had a fun day trip to Galveston. We cooked at the house and enjoyed down time with family. My brother-in-law caught several fish off the pier and a crab that scurried off the pier into the water quickly.

Fun for all ages -- fish, crab & beach time! Highlight may have been the grandchildren's 1st crabbing experience off your dock which resulted in a crab boil & as well, some very proud little girls (ages 5, 7 & 8). Thank you for sharing your bay house.

The house is really nice inside and out. Disappointed because our week of vacation at the house was spent with the septic backed up in half the yard and driveway and was fixed mid afternoon on our last day. Wished it had went better.

House was great and water views were perfect

House was as described and had all the amenities. I really only had one complaint and that is the fact that there were roaches in the house. I paid over a thousand dollars for 4 days and had to deal with roaches. Over all house was great but needs to be exterminated. Would have given them 5 stars if not for the roaches.

Great stay

We enjoyed our stay. Overall, we are very happy with the property, amenities, and the stay we were offered. Some of the deck railing was missing which left holes large enough for my toddler to potentially fit through. We didn’t let her get close enough to the edge anyway, but if she had, it could have potentially be dangerous. Inside could have been cleaner upon arrival, but it was fine. There were some ants inside. We really did enjoy our stay though! And we loved the space we had for the amount of people we brought.

Breathtaking BayStar

We enjoyed everything about our trip. The views were breathtaking and the house was beautiful! Plenty of parking and loads of space in the house. Everything you could possibly need was provided. Comfortable beds and clean linens. The house was very clean and organized. The pier was wonderful and we actually caught a bunch of fish. The beach is literally within walking distance. We unfortunately didn't have much sunny weather but it was a great opportunity to spend time together indoors. The kids loved the games in the living room. Everything was just perfect and we will definitely be back.

So glad I brought my fishing pole

Absolutely stunning! We all, hands down, agreed it was one of the best last minute planned getaways ever. The house is cozy, welcoming and very comfortable. If you are looking for technology, this is not it. The wifi was very good but the tv is basic - no streaming in the family area. There is a FireStick upstairs but who cares. The view, the water and the highlight in our opinion was the double decks. We literally lived on the decks. The sunrise and set are amazing. Two never came down. I fished (last minute decision) and caught stingrays, crabs, catfish and crocker. Extremely relaxing. The owners are so sweet! The previous reviews are spot on so I will not repeat - we needed nothing except food. Can't wait to come back.

Great for fishing or just relaxing by the water

We enjoyed our time here. We were sent information on how gain access to the home well in advance of our arrival. The home was spacious and clean; no bugs. Lots of appliances in the kitchen such as the crockpot, air fryer/toaster oven and electric griddle allowed for lots of meals at home. Fresh drinking water was provided. The dock out back was fun to try fishing, though we didn't catch anything. The fire pit was nice to sit at in the evenings; firewood was provided. Took just a few minutes walking to get to the beach. Our view of the bay was beautiful. A cold front blew in the day before we left bringing heavy winds and rain from the west; the double doors that opened up to the back deck held up and kept the rain out and the floors dry. When we were stuck inside due to the weather, there were plenty of cable TV stations to choose from.

Family gathering

Several of us came together for a wedding in the area. This included 7 adults and 3-5 children at times 8 yrs old and under. Although the living area isn't huge, we never felt cramped or lacking space. The bedrooms were decent size and comfortable. Plenty of linens for everyone. We really enjoyed relaxing on the large deck over looking the sound. There is also very easy beach access that is no more than a five minute walk. Only things I would improve on is a few loose banisters on the deck made us a little leary with the children playing. Also the keyless entry was very finicky and gave us some trouble getting in a few times. Lastly, there was an odd odor when we first entered. It becomes unnoticeable after a little while but is kind of unpleasant at first. I will say be sure to bring ice because there are no ice cube trays or an ice making refrigerator. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would return.

Surfside Beach is a quiet community - very family friendly - clean, wide open beaches. All the nitelife, restaurants and shopping are only a short drive away - 20 minutes to Lake Jackson and only 32 minutes to Galveston - but you don't have all the traffic and huge crowds
