I honestly do not know where to start with this review. I’ve been renting my condo for over 20 years now and I’ve never had a guest like this before. They reached out to me a month before their arrival date and ask if they could get early check in. I explained to them that the condo was under renovation. During that last month, my husband had emergency surgery so I wasn’t able to complete it the week before their check-in like I wanted to. I called them a week before their check-in and told them I didn’t think early check-in would be possible but the condo would be ready for them when they arrived. Their check-in time was at 4 o’clock. They showed up at one and yes, the condo was full of boxes because we were still in the middle of packing everything up. I turned over the condo to them at 4:06. I have a photo documentation of it. I told them since I was six minutes late they could do late check out which they did take advantage of. They called me the next day and told me the stove didn’t work. They informed me that they checked the breaker box and everything and they still couldn’t get the stove to work. My husband was going to drive three hours to go find out why the stove wasn’t working. I didn’t have the owners manual with me so I looked it up online and I ask them if they turned the stove on and they said yes. They called me back five minutes later and said oh the stove finally started working. I’m guessing that they didn’t turn the stove on all the appliances were brand new. Everything looked great. You can reference my pictures on the website. She called me the day before they checked out and gave me a list of things. She didn’t like and told me that she wanted some money back. She didn’t like the bed because it was too soft and she couldn’t put her shoes on when she sat down. The mattress is firm on one side and softer on the other side. I’ve got nothing but compliments about that mattress. She couldn’t figure out how to open the microwave. It opens from underneath not near the wall. She didn’t like that the refrigerator opens on the left to right. 95% of refrigerator is open left to right and I’ve had that refrigerator in there for quite some time if no one has ever complained. As far as the ceiling it was all framed in and I actually could’ve left it like that for an open ceiling concept. She told me that if I didn’t give her part of her money back, it would reflect in my review. She didn’t have one nice thing to say about the condo. After all the hard work I put in and how great it looked. I will never rent to her again. I’m glad I took pictures when I was leaving to prove what time she checked in.
