The Blue Water Retreat is a lovely third-floor 2-bedroom condo located on Downtown Traverse City's main drag and is just minutes from the epicenter of all things fun in TC!

The Space:
Welcome to the Blue Water Front Street Retreat. This lovely third-floor 2-bedroom condo is located on Downtown Traverse City's main drag and is just minutes from the epicenter of all things fun in TC! From its lively nightlife and nationally renowned food scene to its stunning family-friendly beaches, park, and hiking and biking trails, the Blue Water Retreat offers guests a prime location with lots of walkability and all the "at home" comfort they could want.

Located on the third floor, our guests enjoy limited noise interruptions as there are no floors above our unit. We also do not have an elevator, so this unit is more situated for active families and couples who don't mind taking the stairs. Inside our unit, we boast lots of eastern-facing windows and plenty of natural light throughout the open floorplan. Guests will find the large centrally located living room to be a great space for entertaining or for kicking back and watching a movie on our smart TV. The kitchen is also fully stocked and has everything you need to prepare a gourmet dinner or to cook a simple breakfast.

The large primary bedroom features a king-size bed with a full-size ensuite bathroom and a spacious walk-in closet. The second bedroom is off the kitchen and features a queen-size bed with a closet and a laundry room. There is a parking lot at the rear of the building with one parking space designated for this unit. If you park in any other unit’s parking space your vehicle can be towed without your notice. There is additional parking available at Hardy Parking Garage at 303 E State Street. Parking in the alley behind the condo is not allowed.

Rental Policy:
- No smoking or fireworks are permitted
- No Pets Allowed.
- No events, parties, or large gatherings are permitted.
- Minimum booking age is 25

To help you relax and enjoy your stay, we have partnered with Safely to provide all reservations with damage protection. The cost for Safely is $49 for 1-29 nights, $249 for 30-59 nights, $319 for 60-89 nights, and $390 for 90-119 nights. All reservations will initially be charged a $49 Safely Damage Insurance Fee. For stays longer than 29 nights, the additional charges will be processed after booking. All reservations are subject to the guest agreement terms, conditions, and fees.

Guest Access:
This property features self-check-in. Check-in is permitted between 4:00 pm -10:00 pm. Guest are responsible for having their check-in instruction before arrival. Check-in instructions are sent after completing our guest check-in form and agreeing to our terms of service. The home's property address will also be sent separately 72 hours prior to check-in.

The Neighborhood:
City of Traverse City

Getting Around:
Traverse City offers a variety of taxi services as well a Uber and Lyft. While a vehicle is not required to get around from this property, we find most guests will prefer this to be able to explore the region.

Other Things to Note:
Guests are provided with a small amount of the basic essentials including 2 rolls of paper towels, 2 rolls of toilet paper in each bathroom, 2 laundry pods, 2 dish pods, a full dish soap dispenser, and full soap dispensers in each bathroom, and basic cleaning supplies. Guests are not to use the host's inventory of bulk supplies left at the property and should be prepared to supply their own as needed for longer stays.

CHECK OUT INSTRUCTIONS:
•November-April: Set the heat/thermostat to 55 degrees and close the blinds.
•May-October: Shut off everything and close the blinds.
•Strip beds (not mattress pads) and pile all sheets and towels on the floor near the washer. Start a load of towels in the washer. (If applicable.)
•If you used more than 2 shower towels, hand towels, or washcloths per person we ask that you wash, dry, and put the excess away before checking out. (If applicable.)
•Dispose of all food. No food or beverages are to be left inside the property.
•Put all trash in the garbage bin. Trash instructions are noted in your Guest Guide Link. Please take the trash to the road if your stay falls on or within 48 hours of trash day.
•Put patio cushions back. (If applicable.)
•All dishes must be washed, dried, and put away. Dirty dishes may result in a $100 additional guest cleaning fee.
•Turn off all lights.
•Lock the door.

Interaction with Guests:
Guests will have this entire home to themselves. Rental Management One is available to assist via email, phone, or directly through Airbnb messages. Detailed contact information will be provided with the check-in instructions.

We had A great stay. The unit was everything we needed. It was clean and enough space for us and our guests. Highly recommend if you have a small car our rental was perfect for the space.

Nice getaway spot

The property was very clean and well-decorated, nicely stocked kitchen, baths and laundry. comfortable beds, faced the back of the busy street, so not too noisy. There are white noise machines, just in case. The A/C was a blessing since it was hot wile we were there and the unit is in the top floor. Easy keypad access, good communication, the parallel parking spot is a little tight. There was a lot of construction in town on the road by the bay during our stay, but it’s avoidable if you go south out the back and then head toward town.

Very nice accommodations at Blue Water Retreat

Very nice accommodations and very well equipped with everything we needed. The unit was very clean. Check in went very smooth and the managers were very responsive. We love to hang out at Bryant Beach so the location worked very well for us. I would highly recommend staying at Blue Water Retreat.

Nice Clean Traverse Stay

Really enjoyed our stay. Good location… walkable to downtown about 1 mile away. Clean and efficient layout. Not luxuriously furnished but everything you need. Cable was limited streaming but we didn’t spend much time watching. Place worked well for 2 couples and was a good value. Recommended.

Beautiful spot in prime location

Lovely, clean and well furnished 2B2B condo in the heart of TC. Easily a very nice walk to the lakefront and downtown! The rental was easily accessed and there was excellent communication with the rental company! Would not hesitate to stay again in the future!!

Nice location to softball fields but a hike to downtown. Parking in a middle spot challenging. Beds were a little firm. Light on decor but served our purpose for the weekend. Blue Angels a bonus!

The property was exactly as described. Very clean and nice. Great location and walking distance to several restaurants and coffee shops. The host was extremely accommodating, we had a death in the family and they allowed me to shift my dates even though the cancellation policy stated otherwise. We were very happy with how everything worked out nicely.

Great Location

The condos on Fourth Street were a great central location, close to all we wanted to do in the Traverse City area. We should have read the amenities a bit closer to remember to bring our own soaps and shampoos; but we were still thrilled to have all other items available. Pleasantly surprised by the quiet neighbors too, as I believe we were all tourists. Thank you for sharing this space with us. We would stay again.

5 Night July Stay

We were in town for a sailing regatta at Grand Traverse Yacht Club and mainly needed a place to sleep and do laundry as we were gone all day. The place was clean and quiet and safe for our small family of 3 to rest our heads each night. It is about 10 minutes from downtown Traverse City, nothing very walkable from this location. The property manager was very responsive and helpful. A few negatives - The assigned parking spots are very tight for a vehicle larger than a standard SUV. Typical VRBO, they require guests to basically clean the entire place prior to checkout despite being charged a cleaning fee. The beds/pillows were horribly uncomfortable. All considered it was a successful stay.

Nice birthday trip away

We came in town for my husbands birthday. We always enjoy our trip to Traverse City. He wanted to go back for his birthday again this year so we made this spot home for our stay this time around. The owner was very responsive, property close to everything. Only reason I knocked a star off was due to not having the right access code to enter when we first arrived, however management got back to me right away with the access, and the parking lot was very small. My husband drives a big truck and we had to park in our assigned spot per unit. We were parked behind other vehicles and I was nervous other stayers may back into his truck. Other than that I would recommend the location :)

Great 4th of July trip!

We had two couples and were able to truly enjoy our long weekend for the 4th of July. We could walk to breakfast and coffee and we walked to a beach as well! The assigned parking spot was a great use during the busy time of the 4th of July Weekend as well! Great property and we had a wonderful time!
