Our stay here at J.O.âs apartment was absolutely wonderful!
J.O. was patient and generous with our family: responded instantly and kindly to each and every one of our questions and requests. Communication was easy and friendly, instructions were thorough and clear. Superhost indeed!
The apartment is beautifully designed: airy, uncluttered and spacious, luminous with natural light. There are windows on three sides, plus skylights. Fixtures and features are top-notch, and the appliances are high-end.
The place was spotless and equipped with everything we needed to cook and rest and enjoy our time here.
We loved the deck! A great escape from the crowded streets of London!
And we loved the Lower Marsh area - a fun discovery for us, eclectic and charming.
We would definitely stay here again if we ever have the chance.
The property was great. The deck is beautiful and provides awesome views of the london eye. It is nice to be able to open all the doors to the deck and let the fresh air go through the property. We loved that there was a washing machine and oven where we were traveling with young kids. We also liked that one of the twin beds was really low which worked great for the toddler on our trip. The owner is very responsive to messages and very helpful.
The location of this property is really great. Lots of great restaurants on the street. The Leake Arches are right outside the door which my husband loved walking through every night to see what new graffiti art was added and my boys loved seeing the cartoon art in it. It was a very easy walk to the Waterloo station to easily get you anywhere in London. We were also able to walk to a lot of the tourist spots without transportation. London Eye, Westminster abbey, Parliament, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, St James Park are all very walkable. We also walked to Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square and many other places. If we go to London again we would definitely stay here again.
The listing says 3 bedrooms but an image in the photos shows it better that there are 2 bedrooms (one has a full bed and the other has 2 twin beds) and then the living room/kitchen open space has a pull-out bed.
Our favorite places in London to visit are Westminster, Buckingham, St. James Park, Regents St, South Bank and the theaters in Covent Garden.
Waterloo in general is a great hub for these locations whether walking, taking the bus or train/tube out of the local station. We had never heard of Lower Marsh until we booked this flat and glad we did.
Location is great ..close to train station (if train sounds donât bother you) and Lower Marsh has all kinds of places like pubs, grocers, restaurants, drugstores, bakeries within walking distance as well as a street food market during weekdays.
The flat was nice .. full kitchen (no microwave so use the stove to reheat) and plenty of room (we needed to sleep 6). Nice breezes off the river at night (welcome since it was warm when we were there).
No TV so BYO screens if you have TV-watchers :)
Otherwise definitely on out revisit list.
