Idyllic escape

House is perfectly situated in Agrilias - 5- 10 mins from wonderful beaches and tavernas, a short drive to Fiskardo and the house itself with a nice pool was great for our family of 6.

Perfect location

The location of the property is really excellent, perfect position for exploring the north of the island. Fiskardo is a 10 minute drive away, and two of the best beaches (and beachside restaurants) a 5 minute drive or 30 minute walk. Just as great is the short walk to Maganos, a tiny village but with 4 or 5 places to eat and drink and a couple of small supermarkets.

A Holiday of a Lifetime

The villa was amazing and as described. Very well layed out. The views and the sunset were unbelievable. Nicky was so helpful and responded promptly with any questions we had over the month. Thank you Nicky. A holiday we will never forget!

Schitterende villa Kefalonia

Deze villa ligt op een prachtige locatie met een geweldig uitzicht. Heeft de luxe van een top villa. Wij werden er verwend met een welkomst salade en wijn in de koelkast. Tevens werd de villa tijdens ons verblijf 2 keer in de week schoon gemaakt. Wat resulteert in zeer schone villa.

Amazing Villa

Amazing villa, great sized bedrooms especially the master suite with its balcony & views, bed was one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in overseas, spectacular sunsets & sun rises, good sized pool, even had personalised fluffy bathroom towels, lovely cleaner, Nicky is super efficient with a great sense of humour - cannot fault it & will return.

Absolutely beautiful

Wow.. Can not believe how beautiful this Villa is. Very clean, modern and everything you need is there. Lovely little touches throughout and even milk on arrival in the fridge - winner for when you need a brew. We have never been to Kefalonia before and this will not be the last time. What a stunning island and everyday we were astonished at the beauty of it. We would definitely recommend staying here and would like to thank Nicky again for being such a lovely lady and made us feel extremely welcome. See you again soon!! Xx

Sunsets

This property is all about its views and amazing sunsets. It's a large villa which is well equipped and in immaculate condition. It worked well for us as a family with the upstairs section. You could easily spend your time sat round the pool and just watching the world go by but we often went into Fiskardo (10 minutes drive) and Assos (25 minutes). The Odeysssa just down the road is a fantastic restaurant - so well connected. Nicola was very responsive and easily contactable but we did not really need to call her. There was a lovely Greek salad in the fridge which was a nice surprise and tea and coffee so the only thing I would suggest is having some milk as well, as everyone was looking forward to a cup of tea! I thought it was excellent value and a great villa. As well as the milk the only other tiny recommmedation is to have some washing up sponges/clothes. Great holiday.

Beautiful villa and pool in quiet location

The villa is wonderful- quite modern, well laid out and well cared for. The bedrooms are comfy with good wardrobe space, good air con and smartly decorated. The bathrooms are lovely, and the master bedroom with ensuite, office and own huge balcony is a real treat. Kitchen is well equipped , with a good fridge freezer, dishwasher , microwave and oven. The pool, tho not huge, was more than adequate for lounging around and a gentle swim , and with a table in the shade by the pool, we ate all our meals outside. There's plenty of room to park, and best of all , the location on the hill means a constant breeze (so we only used aircon at night and left the multiple french windows open all day) and then the perfect view of amazing sunsets every evening made this a very special holiday. Although quiet, the villa is a short walk from the village of Maganos with 2 well stocked , friendly supermarkets , and many restaurants. (it is also possible to stock up on a few items in the Lidl near Argostoli on the way from the airport). Nearby Fiskado is great for a gentle walk to the Venetian Lighthouse and a wide choice of waterside restaurants. A drive to the village of Asos and a walk onto the peninsula to the ruins of the Venetian castle is good for those wanting a bit more of a workout in the heat, with lovely cafes and restaurants and a tiny beach to reward you on return. Some time in Argostoli, (park in the shady , free car park and walk across the De Bossett bridge into Argostoli )seeing the turtles with a short ferry trip to Lixouri was another easy day out. We enjoyed Myrtos beach- amazing views from above and then a late afternoon on the beach itself- though entering the sea is quite stoney so take water shoes if you have sensitive feet- the beach itself is sandy tho. Tho' we mostly ate out Greek, we would recommend the Thai restaurant The Lord Falcon in Fiskardo as a lovely change . Recycling is in its infancy here- but if you look out for the BLUE rubbish skips by the side of the main roads, you can make a small difference. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have a few more cleaning cloths /dustpan and brush/ floor brush in the house , although the midweek clean and change of towels and sheets was another wonderful touch. Nicky was very helpful and great at communicating and directions were good. (very helpful with the photos). A marvellous find.

Great Location

We loved this villa and its location. Well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Just five minutes drive from Jerusalem beach (which has beds and umbrellas) and the Odysseas Taverna - both highly recommended. And of course the glorious Fiskardo

Best villa we have stayed in.

Great location and comfortable, well equipped villa. The only things lacking were a pair of kitchen scissors and some poolside "glasses" etc! We didn't have any breakages but plastic by the pool always feels safer. The cleaning - twice a week, was very thorough with new towels etc. Good communications with Nicky, who manages the villa. The sunset views were brilliant, but we knew they would be , having stayed nearby last year. Best places to eat nearby were "The Old Stone House" in Antipata (walkable in 30 mins or 5 mins drive) and the tavernas at Jerusalem beach (truly excellent traditional food) and Alaties beach (cocktails and great fish/seafood specials, not forgetting the mezes). We felt the Ionian in Maganos was poor value.

Perfect holiday home.

Loved this villa and it's situation over looking the west of the island.A perfect size for six adults.Three generous sized bedrooms one on suite and one family bathroom.Hot water on demand and a good quality hair conditioning system.Five minute walk to Magganos with its nice restaurant and well stocked shop.Five minute drive to Alaties beach with its restaurant Acqua.Ten minute drive to Agios Jerusalem beach with its loungers,parasols and restaurant (rather quirky). Beautiful Fiscarado is only a ten minute drive and has a fine selection of quality restaurants.Use the taxi number in the villa and the round trip can be done for twenty euros.We are home only one day and already I am missing it all.Most of all I miss the spectacular sunsets.thankyou Nicky for your input.

Great villa with wonderful sunset

Really great villa with everything you need. Good location being only 10 mins from Fiscardo, Foki Bay and 5 mins to the local beach which has a nice taverna ( need to book if you want the best seats for sunset). Nicoletta was an incredible host and couldn't do enough for us. The shops in Magannos, which is only 5 mins walk away, have a good selection of fruit, veg and essentials and is cheaper than the ones in Fiscardo. Recommeded.

AMAZING FAMILY VILLA

We had the most magical holiday, this villa is perfect for a wonderful break away and so perfectly located to the mini market (walking distance) little cafes/restaurants (2mins by car) Fiscardo is a five minute drive and you can sit and have cocktails and dinners and watch the BIG boats arrive and depart. Alaties beach is the closest one and its GREAT, the little restaurant looks over the gorgeous Olive trees, salt rocks and amazing ocean. WHAT A HOLIDAY. we are coming back for more. Don't miss the opportunity to stay in this wonderland ;) best holiday of my life.
