Had some friends in town who wanted to take advantage of the nice weather in Houston for the weekend. We were able to enjoy the place thanks to the abundance of space, things you may need around the house, and location thatâs in walking distance to a coffee shop, a corner store, a CVS, Herman Park and even a Whole Foods if youâre a little ambitious. Being right off 59 too made it easy getting to our further destinations. Lee was in contact the entire time and made sure we had what we needed.
What a lovely home! It is huge and perfect for everyone to have their own bedroom. Very centrally located with large spaces to gather and an open kitchen and living area.
I hate leaving bad reviews but unfortunately this place just wasnât great. The price that we paid for this rental was a lot more than what we usually paid, even compared to rentals with ocean view in Florida.
The place was not terrible but it also wasnât great. It looks like a pretty new building but the cleaning isnât being done properly and it will soon start to show more. The baseboards were quite dusty and some of the sheets were not clean.
We paid like an additional $150 for an extra person yet there were like one pair of very flimsy towels in the three full bathrooms. The showers did not have any curtain liners and the bathroom on the top floor didnât even have a rug, quite slippery when you stepped out of the shower and could cause someone to have a bad fall.
We didnât use the kitchen but noticed one part of the stove was broken.
I messaged the owner about a remote missing on the top floor but never heard back.
Just received automated emails before check in.
The best thing about this rental was its location, close to everything.
Overall, I would not recommend this place.
Our family were exiled from our home for painting when the great freeze of 2021 hit. This was a great place to be even if we did lose power for a day- which was less than most of Houston. Very well located near I59 and the Spur in Montrose. The kitchen was well equipped and beautiful. The rooms were comfy and my kids enjoyed having their own rooms and space to play on the 4th floor. The internet and roku tvs worked well. Very memorable visit and would have extended our stay if we could.
