Thank you Brookelynn for your kind review and we are so happy you enjoyed your stay with us in Capo Beach. In response to the furnace, this unit does have their own separate thermostat with their own full control. And yes, this is a duplex, so the walls are shared. We apologize if you experienced an issue with the furnace and if we had known we would have been happy to assist you. It was pleasure hosting you and we welcome you back anytime for another stay. Kind regards, The Team at Sand and Surf Vacation

Thank you so much for the kind and thoughtful review, Elizabeth! We’re really glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and found the home comfortable and well-located. It’s great to know you appreciated the outdoor space, kitchen setup, and little touches like the coffee, tea, and cookies. We totally understand your note about the 10am checkout — we do our best to give guests as much time as possible, but with same-day turnovers, it helps our cleaning team get the home ready for the next guests. That said, we always try to accommodate later checkouts when the schedule allows, so feel free to reach out next time! We’d love to welcome you back anytime you’re visiting Dana Point again. Thanks again for staying with us! Warm regards, The Team at Sand and Surf Vacation

Hi Jerry, Thank you for staying with us and for your review. We apologize that it was not clear our vacation rental management company is Sand and Surf Vacation, but are always happy to confirm any information about our business or listings when asked. The mattresses are pillow topped, but firm, and think this is personal preference. We apologize about the slow draining in the sink. We did find it after your stay and cleared the pipes. We are always happy to assist our guests with these small maintenance type issues when they arise during guest stays when we are notified about them. Thank you again for boking with us we would be happy to host you again. Sand and Surf Vacation

Thank you for your feedback and for noting the cleanliness, furnishings, and location of the property. We’re glad you enjoyed those aspects of your stay. To clarify regarding towels — our listing clearly states that the maximum number of overnight guests allowed is six, and accordingly, six bath towels are provided. This is standard for vacation rentals. While we understand your personal preference for additional towels due to your family’s needs, we encourage guests with specific requirements to bring extras from home. We also provide a washer and dryer in the unit for convenience, and as you mentioned, additional beach towels were available in the cabinet for your use. Regarding parking, the property includes one designated space, as described in the listing. Any vehicles or encroachments by neighbors are outside of our control, as they too have a right to park in their spaces. The driveway does have a white line for guidance, and many guests with smaller vehicles find it manageable. We appreciate your comments and will use them to ensure clarity in our listing. Thank you again for staying with us. Warm regards, The Team at Sand and Surf Vacation
