Wonderful location, updated condo....we love this strip of Beach!

The only complaint we can make is that Tropical Storm Alberto took the sunshine away! Otherwise, everything was perfect! Beautiful, roomy, updated condo! Great location--we target this area every year! And even in the clouds, the beach was awesome!

Get away much needed

It was nice to walk into a clean condo. Only thing was once we got everything unpacked we noticed small ants. We reported this immediately. They didn’t spray until the day we were leaving.

Our main issue was our parking spot was the only one not labeled, so others parked there. A spot was promised in the rental contract but the management company would not address it and said it was the HOA's problem and we should park in the street (which has signs you will be towed).

Almost Great Condo

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location just a few steps to the beach. The condo has been updated however they need to finish the job. Patio furniture was old and needs an update, bed was uncomfortable and squeaky. They did not add back a ceiling fan after the update and bedroom was warm. Only streaming TV available however WIFI was slow , they have old router. We had issue with water not draining in shower however management sent someone over to fix quickly. We like to cook however they had cheap cooking utensils, furniture had to be the cheapest stuff they could find. Has the potential to be a fantastic rental if they would just fix a few things.

Great Condo, Terrible Bed

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo location was very good, but the mattress on the bed was completely worn out and the furniture was uncomfortable. Also, the beach company that put up the umbrellas and chairs left no room for anyone else on the beach and most of them were not even used, and the privacy signs were not enforced. We have been using Garrett/Benchmark since the 80's, but if things don't improve, we will not be back.

As for the beach chair service, the county permits beach chair vendors to specific accesses and they do like to set up a line of chairs and umbrellas all along their zone. If you do not rent from them, personal chairs and setups must be put up behind these vendor lines. We understand it can be frustrating, but many people do enjoy this availability of service and this is a matter completely out of our hands, unfortunately. Right on the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed at Eastern Shores several years. First time in this 2nd floor unit. This unit is absolutely beautiful. It’s updated and we loved everything about it. They have replaced couch and chair from what shows in pictures. We was leary at first after seeing reviews of bugs but we never saw one bug. This unit is so clean and well taken care of. Enjoyed watching the dolphins from the balcony. Loved walking on the beach and fishing. Definitely would recommend staying at this condo.

On the beach...

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We've stayed in the complex dozens of times because it's right on the beach with no dune stairs. This unit could use some tlc tho. Skillet unusable, we always bring our own from experience tho. Beach condos often have roaches and this place was no exception. I sprayed. Headboard and bedframe squeaks BAD whenever you move. Pillow behind headboard solves this. I do not like the Roku tv setup. Furniture looks ok but sofa is saggy and dining chairs are super cheap and seem undersized. Patio furniture is nice tho. They've updated the kitchen and the shower is nice. Overall it didn't seem very clean. It's all about the location! It has a biga×× fan! I would recommend if some small improvements happened.

Our 1year old sleeps every night with a waves sound machine and she got to sleep to the real ocean waves.

Our stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. Beautiful views. Sometimes the ceiling fan would just turn on. We couldn’t figure out why. Was it programmed? The bathroom sink closest to the bedroom was clogged but we just used the other one. Shower also drained a little slowly. Everything else was perfectly fine and we enjoyed our stay.

Great Location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location and even better beach experience. Microwave didn't really work but got a temp replacement quickly. Bed was squeaky and internet was sketchy at times but I'd certainly stay here again.

As for the internet, we have very limited options in the area and the networks easily get overwhelmed when there are as many guests as we have had here lately. Great Condo, Terrible Bed

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love this condo, but the mattress in the bedroom was completely worn out and needs to be replaced. It sinks so low you can barely get out of bed, and it creaks every time you move. I would rent this condo again, but only if the mattress is replaced.

Quiet place

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Off the beating pass located next to Eastern Lake. Two things the owners should address. The kitchen faucet is loose where it goes through the countertop. Also there is a vertical crack in the left corner of the shower in the grout line of the adjoining walls that runs the full height.
