Belle maison au bord du lac nichée sur 40 acres de pur bonheur Adirondack. 4 ch, 2. 5 ch, grande cuisine / salle à manger, moustiquaire sous véranda privée. Une vue imprenable depuis le salon, avec un poêle à bois confortable. La maison est très privée (allée de 1. 8 mile). Sentiers de randonnée sur la propriété et plage privée et quai. Pédalo / chaloupe / 2 kayaks sur place. 5-6min en voiture du centre de Warrensburg. 15-18 minutes en voiture du village de Lake George et Gore Mountain ainsi.
Événements locaux printemps / été ... concerts, derbies de pêche, excursions en bateau, golf, équitation, vignobles.

Great week

Beautiful property. Easy communication with Karen. House is lovely and lake is ideal. Unfortunately we went at the end of a heat wave so house was HOT the first 2 days. Lots of fans available to help cool it off at night so day 3-6 were comfortable. We downloaded map on Apple Maps before arriving so were able to use that since gps doesn’t always work. We had a storm hit and took out power but whole house was on a generator so didn’t affect us. Would love to go back in winter to use the beautiful wood stove!

Perfect Summer Stay

Our family had a great vacation at this property! From the pond to the fire pit to the home itself, it was wonderful. Great proximity to Lake George too!

A perfect Adirondack home nestled in the woods on a pristine private lake

This home has everything you need and is just lovely to spend time in! Little things like nice hand soap, tissues, fluffy towels - to a well-equipped kitchen and Adirondack decor in each room make for a stay that will make you smile each time you walk in. Our family of five adults spent a late spring week enjoying swimming, kayaking and relaxing by the fire pit. We hiked and biked nearby. We arrived to the call of the loons on the lake and enjoyed hearing the Barred Owls each morning. Karen is a kind and responsive host - this was just a wonderful week. We enjoyed it all- the games inside by the wood stove, the balcony to sit with coffee or a cocktail, the ample outdoor seating with the fire pit, the private dock… the water is clean and clear and we dined on fresh-caught large mouth bass! If you like relaxing in the woods with all the comforts of home plus a beautiful and quiet lake, this is it!!

Family gateway

We had an incredible two-night family getaway at this beautiful house by the lake. The location was great, with nice views and easy access to the water. The house was cozy and well-appointed, with everything we could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The fireplace became the heart of our evenings, where we spent hours playing board games. Highly recommend for a family retreat!

Family solitude

Loved every bit of it. Quiet, peaceful, clean, well equipped. The host had a Christmas tree up as well as decorations in every room. An unexpected and beautiful surprise.

Serenity in the ADK

Location and house was perfect for a peaceful and relaxing week. House is exactly as described, the pond is picture perfect to enjoy with the supplied boats or just drink coffee in a chair on the dock. We very much enjoyed our time and will be coming back!

Extremely private and relaxing. Wonderful house and waterfront facilities. Manager was extremely easy to work with. Very comfortable with well equipped kitchen. Would stay again.

Great property

We had a wonderful stay at Karen’s property. Host was very accommodating and easy to reach. Plenty of space for two families with 5 kids and a dog. House was fully stocked and very comfortable. Very convenient to Gore mountain and the village of Lake George. Overall a great trip!

Annual Friend Trip

This property was the perfect place for my friends to get together for our annual lake house vacation! All the amenities and privacy you would want with easy access to the beautiful lake. Karen was wonderful to deal with through the entire process and was always quick to respond. The property is also very pup friendly! We had a lovely time and would consider renting this property in the future.

A perfect place to enjoy summer with family

Wonderful winter getaway

Love this home! Very quiet and very cute on the water...even if frozen! Very spacious for our family and had everything we needed. The weather and skiing were not great, but we had a fantastic time playing games and just enjoying the family. Gore was about a 30 min drive. We will be back!

Happy House!

Very clean, well-stocked, spacious home, on beautiful pond. Fun variety of boats and great dock for fishing for the kids! Our family loved roasting marshmallows at the firepit too! Host was very responsive to our questions. The location is secluded and very peaceful, but it is not far for Lake George activities. Many happy memories were made here this week!

Summer get away

The house was amazing. We stayed for the summer, specifically for the lake. Water is right outside the house. Plenty of beach space. Plenty of Boats and canoes. The house is only a 20 minute drive to lake George. Very quiet area, no traffic.

Beautiful Ski Chalet!!

This was the perfect stay for our ski adventure at Gore Mountain. Karen was so helpful and attentive to our needs. The house is just so cozy and warm. I couldn't wait to drive back at the end of my long and cold day of skiing. The drive around the lake to the house is about 2 miles but my teenage son really enjoyed the adventurous feel of this remote location. The lake is amazing to view even in the winter. Our dog, Nessie, was in heaven as we walked her each day down to the boat house and in the forest area. Highly recommend.

Unbeatable Getaway

This was by far my families best vacation. The house was extremely clean and equipped with everything needed. Kuerig, drip coffee pot, propane grill, towels, bed linen, plenty of games …. Although the lake is the real prize. We swam from early to late, kayaked, fished, paddle boarded, loved the rope swing and trampoline. You can see all the little added touches (like flowers on the dock) that make this house even more special. Karen was quick to respond and recommended an awesome Deli for our boat day on Lake George (only 1/2 hour away). Recommend food shopping at Price Chopper a short drive away. We are already booked for next year because this house is a Diamond.

Tranquil escape

My trip to Lake George was nothing short of magical, thanks to the hospitality of our host, Karen. Not only did she welcome my three dogs with open arms, but she also ensured that every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The location itself was breathtaking, nestled by a serene pond that provided the perfect backdrop for relaxation. What truly set this experience apart was Karen's attention to detail and genuine care for her guests. She went above and beyond by reaching out to us about the possibility of witnessing the Northern Lights if the skies cleared, the skies did indeed clear and, wow! Karen's dedication to making our visit unforgettable truly shone through, and her thoughtful gestures made all the difference. From the warm welcome to the personalized touches throughout our stay, it was evident that she takes great pride in ensuring her guests feel at home. I can't recommend this getaway enough, especially for pet owners seeking a peaceful retreat with their furry companions. Thank you, Karen, for creating such a memorable experience. We can't wait to return!

As Advertised, Beautiful, Peaceful Setting. Privacy Concern

House and location were great. It would be nice if trash was picked up every few days, made a couple of runs to transfer station with multiple bags of trash. It adds up especially if you just want to stay at house and enjoy it with family. Also, we received a couple of texts to move vehicle blocking road to neighbors property that was roped off - no house there and no one ever came through. We weren’t aware of no parking there. Second text came minutes after my son unknowingly parked there, then moved when we alerted him about no parking there. It was moved immediately, but we still received text. This got us thinking about how many cameras were on site and how much we were being observed. A bit uncomfortable about our privacy after these texts, especially how quickly the second on was sent. Great place, but be aware of multiple cameras.

We had a great stay, and Karen was a pleasure to deal with. She was responsive and and clear in her communications, and her check in and check out processes are easy and straightforward. The house was very comfortable and clean, and is in a beautiful setting.

Perfect remote getaway

Our stay at this beautiful home was absolutely perfect. From the moment we arrived, we felt so comfortable. It had a warm, homey vibe. The entire house was beautifully decorated, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook family meals. One of the highlights was the stunning view from the huge windows facing the lake. We spent every day gathered in the living room by the cozy wood fire stove, just soaking it all in.Walking on the frozen lake was such a cool experience, and at night, we made our way through the snow to the fire pit, where we warmed up by the fire and stargazed. The remote location was a huge plus, giving us a peaceful escape while still being close to great outdoor activities. We were able to snowmobile right nearby, and Gore Mountain was an easy drive for skiing.Our host, Karen, was wonderful. Very responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. We all had such a great time and would definitely love to return!

Great vacation

The property is absolutely beautiful. It’s private and quiet. Swimming, fishing, boating, shopping and history. It was a great trip! Already looking into next year!
