I am glad you were able to use the laundry! I am a little confused about backing out though since we are on a residential country road, have a sizeable parking area, and a long driveway. Maybe we had an event that day and the parking area was full :)

The only things that are different from the photos are the sunflowers are not in bloom, the comforter was a different color that day, and the pride flag is not in the photo. So must be one of those three. Thanks for your feedback.

Thank you for the feedback. We were sorry to hear the stay did not meet your expectations, but we do want to clarify a few things for future guests. The item you referenced was not the cutting board; the cutting board is stored inside the cabinet. We inspected the space after checkout and did not find mildew. We are located in the forest, and especially after periods of rain, the property can sometimes have that naturally damp, musty woods smell. We also found the A/C set to “fan” rather than “cool” after checkout, which would explain why it was not cooling the room. The pan over the sink catches condensation from the unit during our very humid Florida weather. I’m not sure why the outdoor kitchen was not usable for you. There are two grills and a propane stove under the gazebo, and we checked them and they are operating properly. Our listing also does not advertise a microwave inside the room, although guests are welcome to use the microwave in the nearby staff room. We have professional pest control service monthly and have not had an ongoing issue with roaches. That said, we are in rural Florida surrounded by woods, so the occasional infamous Florida palmetto bug can certainly make an unwelcome appearance! We do appreciate the feedback about the lighting. This is the first time anyone has mentioned that the room felt too dark, and we will be adding additional lighting.
