Nous sommes un mari américain et une femme chinoise. Notre maison est située sur Puget Sound avec une vue extraordinaire sur la baie de Commencement, les ßles Vashon et Maury. Le parc du phare de Browns Point n'est qu'à quelques minutes. Les autres attractions locales sont Dash Point State Park, Redondo Waterfront Community, Point Defiance Park & Zoo et Point Ruston Waterfront Community.

La chambre avec lits superposés est située à l'étage inférieur et est la seule chambre à cet étage. Les clients ont un accÚs exclusif à la salle de bain, qui a des toilettes, un lavabo / vanité et une douche.

Views and a great shower

Check-in was very easy, and the hosts send an e-mail with check-in instructions and contact information. The house overlooked the Puget Sound with great views.Very comfortable room w/ detached bathroom with a multi-head shower. Steve & Li were great hosts and kept checking to see if we needed anything. It is about 20–30-minute drive to the City of Tacoma. We took a car ferry from Tacoma to Vashon Island and really enjoyed the day. On your drive to Tacoma Mt. Rainer is standing majestically in front of you. The Glass Museum, Zoo & Aquarium, Defiance Park, and various restaurants & shops are located in that same general area.

A breath of fresh air!

I live in central CA. Definitely not PNW vibes or energy there anywhere to be found. A solo trip was the perfect solution. And in my situation, it made my stay more meaningful and delightful to be able to say "good morning" or "hello" to the hosts. I wasn’t uncomfortable that they were on site at all. I am truly grateful for my time in such a beautiful area with beautiful souls. I will visit again. Thank you.

Advertising for hot tub and pool. Neither was available.

Owners are super nice! You stay in their home in a bedroom. Bathroom is private and wonderful! Didn't expect to stay in someone's home. Wasn't a discount for no pool or hot tub which was the size of garbage can.

Beautiful home and view

Steve and Li were really lovely and the home was beautiful. Only drawback is that it is quite a bit of a drive from downtown and central Tacoma. Great if you want a quiet place to stay and don't need to be near the action.

Perfect Stay in Tacoma – Cozy and Convenient!

My stay in Tacoma was fantastic! The property was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring the city and nearby attractions. Great View and Stay

We had a great stay for 2 nights before departing for Alaskan Cruise. Host was great and accommodations were wonderful! Best shower ever! Very quiet and peaceful. 2nd evening gave us a wonderful sunset view to top off the stay!

Great spot

I had an amazing stay! The location was absolutely perfect, with spectacular views that took my breath away every day. The hosts were incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. Just a heads-up: the listing can be a bit confusing since there's both an expanded downstairs rental space and an upstairs rental room. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a beautiful spot with great hosts!

Worked for the purpose of the trip

My husband and son were staying at this property because my son had a basketball tournament the weekend of the stay. They slept at the house and used the bathroom to shower and stuff. They didn’t receive breakfast (which was listed as an amenity and since I’m the Mom I thought it would be helpful to have because I was not going to be there). The space was in the basement. But like I said the space worked for the purpose of the trip. Comments from my husband and son were “it wasn’t a place to go and have somewhere to hang out, it’s a good place for having somewhere to sleep”.

Great Place! Great Hosts!! Not like the others

Steve and Li are very kind and considerate hosts. They welcomed us into their home to stay in a spare room. This was the original idea of renting a room in someone's home instead of the entire home and they make it work well! The room was nice, bed was comfy, but the shower is the shining star - water from all angles! We enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again! Thanks for having us!

The best

Highly recommend! Steve and Li have a beautiful home, with an amazing view in a quiet neighborhood. The pool is amazing with plenty of space to lounge in the sun or relax in the shade. Landscape beautifully manicured and maintained. Very clean everywhere. Loved the body jets in the shower. Communication with Steve and Li was excellent, they are very hospitable and they want to ensure you have a comfortable stay, which we did. We will back!

Relaxing

Lin & Steve are great hosts. Steve was very thorough and detailed. Lin was very warm and hospitable. The place is wonderful, clean, and has a lot of places to sit and relax, especially outside. The deck out of the living room has a 2-person seating arrangement, the pool has a couple of tables with more seating options, and there are multiple outdoor options around the house and away from the pool, including one in the back at the top of the garden with a fire pit. We took advantage of the theater room, which was a great place to watch a movie. The theater is next to the downstairs workout room which has its own sliding door out to the pool. Great place to stay. Highly recommended and I would definitely stay again. 👍👍
