Gorgeous old home in a sweet little town. Easy walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Only two concernsâweâre coffeeholica and there was no coffee machine or cups, and the bathroom in the Apple Annie suite is separated from the bed by a shower curtain. A little privacy would be nice. Aside from that, really nice.
The room was a cute updated historical 2 and floor. Stais were a bit tricky but weanagrd. The astetics were nice. Unfortunately the hot water in the spa tub did not work we were unable to enjoy the tub. O sure would have been nice after a work week and 2.5 hours drive. Owner was prompt. No onsite parking.
The location was average
I wasn't going to write a review, mainly because I didn't actually stay there, but I see that Mike wrote a review about me and I need to write one to see it. I booked this property well in advance of a big concert in town. I was travelling for 10 hours from the south for this. The day before the concert, I asked for the instructions for entering the property and was met with a sorry, there was a booking conflict and an offer for $100. I told him that I would prefer that he honors my booking and offer the $100 to the other person. I wanted to know how this happens and I asked for a phone number so we could talk about it. Instead of picking up the phone and having a conversation, he gave me the phone number of the maintenance man who knew NOTHING about the bookings. He was completely caught off guard, and was obviously not pleased about it. That guy offered me a link to some hotels, all of which were $500+ for one night due to the concert being in town. I asked through the vrbo messaging if Mike could do better than $100 as I am out a lot more than that because of the situation. Mike talked as though I had done something to him. I didn't think it was too much to ask, given he just messed up and I was only asking questions about what happened and what could he do to make the bad situation he created, a little better for me. In any case, I would beware when you book with this property manager. Terrible.
