SEA ESTA by the Shore

Condo à deux étages détendu et confortable avec deux chambres principales spacieuses. Nouveaux meubles! Le canapé-lit queen-size en mousse à mémoire de forme garantira également à vos invités supplémentaires une bonne nuit de sommeil. À quelques pas du barbecue, de la piscine et du spa.
Chaque chambre a sa propre unité de chauffage. Comme la plupart des locations côtières, il n'y a pas de climatisation, mais les ventilateurs sont fournis.
Situé sur le côté est calme du complexe. Juste une courte promenade sur le côté ouest vous amènera à 3 piscines supplémentaires, un club-house fantastique et une terrasse avec vue et un accès à la plage.

Amazing location and very comfortable condo.

Everything was clean, comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. The only drawback was the dryer wasn’t very powerful and took a long time to dry. It would also have been great to have one more gate key so we didn’t have to coordinate going to the pool or beach.

Nice vacation rental

A nice place that had everything we needed. The only complain is that it was a bit smelly (probably common to places of high humidity?); we felt this smell very strong when we arrived; after a short time, not sure it went away or we got used to it, but "issue" not a deal breaker; Overall, I really recommend this place and will return. Thank you very much.

The beach access across the street was fun and shops/coffee/train station were within walking distance (under a mile to everything). The only thing I could gripe about was the fact that almost of the blinds were broken but it was a minor problem really. We would definitely stay again.

Winter Getaway

The unit and the community worked out well. Everything worked as advertised. Location and proximity to ocean is terrific. Rental office did nice job of communicating proactively and responding when necessary. Unit itself was cold temp-wise as it is winter. Difficult to heat in mornings. We had a great time and would come back.

Nice location and amenities

We enjoyed the location of the VRBO in that we could go across the street to view the ocean any time we wanted. It was nice to have a heated pool for our grandchildren when they came to visit. The kitchen had the supplies to make our meals there. There was one significant drawback, you could not control the heat in the living room....it was locked at one temperature and the time it was on was locked too.

we have used VRBO for our last 3 vacation properties in the Del Mar area, they were managed by a host/owner. These properties were in tip top condition and stocked with all amenties, paper products, excellent cooking utensils, even coffee and tea. This years property was hosted by Stubbs Vacation rentals and we were floored at the horible condition and location of this property! The pictures on the listing of "ocean views" were across the street in another section of the property, there were holes in the tile floor, the carpets were dirty, mouse turds in the laundry room, rust on the dryer, knobs missing on the clothes dresser. After complaining to Stubbs Realty, Tyler(manager?) apologized, moved us to another smaller Stubbs property but with actual ocean front view.This second location was a great location but multiple issues. Sliding screen doors didn't work or lock,cupboard door broken, junk utensils, bathroom GFI plug didn't work properly, only left a half roll of toilet paper (we had to supply all paper products). Too many iritating problems to list, Ttese properties should NOT be furnished by Goodwill or the Dollar Store. Customers who rent from VRBO should be treated with the same consideration as the clients who pay to put their properties on your sight. Stubbs Vacation Rentals should make sure their properties sites meet the same ethical standards that VRBO usually represents.

The condo was clean. No AC wasn't really an issue until the last couple of days which were hot. Location was great because it was only ~25-30 min from downtown SD and ~1 hour from downtown LA. We had ants crawling around here and there but that was taken care of right away after contacting the management company.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay.

Week stay at Solana Beach

The property is in a good location for access to the beach. The condo unit worked well for us to gather for meals and socializing. The common grounds in the complex could use some maintenance. Specifically the jets on the Jacuzzi don't work and the light over the common barbecue doesn't work. The unit is across the road from the beachfront units so requires going through two gates to get to the beach.

Our favorite beach rental yet

Our family has been renting beach homes/condos each summer for several years, typically in the San Clemente area, but this year we decided to try a different location. This has, by far, has been our favorite place, for several reasons: 1. The beach - perfect for surfing several hours a day and only a short distance from the condo. 2. The area - there are plenty of unique dining options within a short distance. From coffee and a danish in the morning to dinner out with the family. 3. The condo - the condo was roomy and clean. We enjoyed the fact that it was across the street from the beach access as it was much quieter and did not feel like everyone was walking by you at all hours while accessing the beach. 4. The management - extremely helpful and friendly. They even called mid week to make sure that the unit met our expectations and if we needed anything. Upon arrival, there was a jug of milk in the fridge and some snacks on the counter. It may sound a bit silly that this meant so much, but with five teenage children, that staves off the hunger (coupled with the cereal we brought with us) so we did not have to go grocery shopping or out to eat right away. We will definitely be returning.

Serious Problem with Stubbs Rental Company

Stubbs Rental company rented a UNIT that should not even be available for clients, in our opinion. Our vacation was a nightmare, terrible, with the VERY LOUD noise and the dust of the construction was going on in front of our Unit, we couldn’t even open the window of the house. We think that how Stubbs Co Rental behaved with us in this situation, we think that they are more worry in making money then the client well staying. Shame. Neves will use Stubbs again in our life to rent anything. We can NOT trust in Stubbs work.

We offered to fully refund your money and let you out of your contract to find other accommodations, but you chose to stay. Since you chose to stay, we gave you a partial refund.
