Melanie---your negative review stands in stark contrast to the 5-star rating for this home and my company. There is a reason for that---you are disingenuous. You left this home with utter disregard for it, the owner, and my management company. As the sea air does damage to the inside of beach homes, I get an automatic text notice when doors are left open longer than 10 minutes. I politely asked you to keep them closed. This is stated in the rental agreement you signed along with the House Rules in the property book. Not only did you fail to follow the check-out instructions required of every guest--run dishwasher, takeout your trash, wash beach towels, place bath towels at washing machine (towels take long time to wash and dry and home needs to be prepared for next guest), but you left this home and guest cottage trashed with unreported damaged. There were heavy blood stains on sheets, blanket and towels, dirty dishes throughout the home, and a broken drawer on a bunk bed. When I informed you that, per the rental agreement and Check-Out Instructions, you were being charged $75 extra cleaning fee-you objected. I sent you photos. You never responded after that but, instead, left this review. The rental agreement you signed, and Check-Out Instructions requires that windows and doors remain shut, you leave the home in good order and that you report any damage. You did not. As a result, you and your family are no longer welcomed guests.
