Bienvenue au Breezy Knoll Cottage!

Venez en famille ou entre amis pour séjourner dans notre joli chalet niché dans les bois au bout d'un chemin privé. Vous adorerez vous réveiller et marcher ou faire du vélo dans le parc d'État Warren Dunes à proximité. Passez un peu de temps au Captain Mike's Fun Park avec les enfants, ou faites du shopping dans l'un des antiquaires locaux uniques. Il y a de superbes fermes à cueillir à visiter à proximité si vous souhaitez goûter aux bleuets, aux pêches, aux pommes et plus encore.

Il n'est pas rare de voir une mère chevreuil avec son bébé marcher sur la pelouse avant tôt le matin. Il existe également d'innombrables écureuils, lapins et oiseaux. Nous avons même vu des dizaines de dindes sauvages se promener dans la propriété en grand groupe.

Vous pouvez terminer vos journées en faisant griller des guimauves et des hot-dogs sur le foyer ou en regardant le coucher du soleil sur la plage. Vous serez heureux d'avoir choisi de rester avec nous! Veuillez me contacter pour plus d'informations.

New Year’s Family Day

This is the cutest lil house, located super close to Lake Michigan. We had our doggo with us and this was perfect for him. House is back in the woods , on about a cleared half acre with plenty of room for us to walk him. The house itself is older but well maintained and clean with awesome amenities including the best bed we’ve ever slept on at a VRBO. Clean bamboo sheets just like home. Lots of kitchen utensils and plenty of linens. Washer and dryer. Truly loved it here and would definitely recommend. So homey. And very reasonably priced. Thank you for renting to us an obviously well loved cottage.

Nice older cottage

This is a great setting with huge trees. Very close to Warren Dunes. Rustic cottage with sparse decoration. Two things I would add: a hook on the door of the small bathroom. And a luggage rack or small table in the bedroom. I had to put everything on the floor. Everything worked just fine. It was a good stay.

Perfect for a family getaway!

Our family had a great time at this cottage. The location was great (super close to the dunes and a fun local produced market) and the house was clean, cozy and woodsy. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed the grill, campfire pit, and the fun extras (ping pong table and swing). Everyone- from the kid to the teens to the adults- had fun on the swing and playing ping pong! The washer and dryer were a great plus too. We highly recommend this cottage!

Nice little cottage

We stayed here 7 years ago with our two previous dogs so decided our dogs now needed the joy of going also. Love it that we can take our dogs with us. Our host Sara assured us our dogs were welcomed even though they were a wee bit above the 50 pounds. This cottage is located within 2 minutes of Warren Dunes State Park so easy to hit the trails for walks. We did take rugs to put down for the dogs-we remembered from our time before. Just a great trip and the pups loved it.

Charming cottage

Very comfortable cottage that met all our needs. The dishwasher and washer/dryer were appreciated. It was very quiet and close to the beach.

Long Weekend Getaway

This property was perfect for meeting up with friends for a long liesurely weekend of cooking out, playing card games, walking through Warren Dunes State Park, and playing with our dog on the beach. The house was a clean turnkey rental with a fully stocked kitchen of cookware and dishes. We enjoyed the local meat market and produce stands. The house is surrouned by woods with a fabulous patio to cookout and relax with friends. We would definitely rent this property again.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was comfortable and had everything we could possibly need for an enjoyable stay. Perfect location for hanging at the dunes, beaches, and exploring the area. Highly recommended.

Disappointed

Enjoyed private yard but no walking paths. Busy road, cannot walk to park. Cottage needs cleaning on outside and there is a strong mildew smell in entrance by kitchen.

Our stay at this cozy house was magical. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the serene surroundings and the rustic feel of the house. The location is perfect for a peaceful getaway – surrounded by the trees and in a close proximity from the lake. The house itself is thoughtfully furnished with all the comforts of home. We particularly loved the large windows that allowed us to feel connected to nature at all times. One of the highlights of our stay was the outdoor space. We spent mornings sipping coffee on the porch, listening to the birds sing, and afternoons kayaking on the lake. The private dock was a wonderful feature, providing a perfect spot for dining & relaxing. Overall, this house is a gem. It offers the perfect blend of comfort, seclusion, and natural beauty.

Dunes Girls Trip

This stay was so perfect! My mom, a friend, and I all got together right before school started up just to get a break from our busy schedules and get a breather together. We spent a whole day at the dunes and another downtown New Buffalo--the location was perfect! We were able to drive easily to New Buffalo straight down the main road, and had the dunes themselves almost directly across the street. The house was so nice and comfortable and, with the addition of having grocery stores conveniently nearby, we were able to enjoy lowkey nights cooking dinner and watching movies. It was the perfect stay!

Quaint & charming cottage

We loved our stay at the Breezy Knoll Cottage! My husband, 2 children and I stayed for 3 nights and thought it was the perfect size for us. My kids loved the bunk beds and swing, my husband loved the fire pit and I loved making memories with my family! We did have trouble with the internet speed at first but one message to the owner was all it took to fix that - Sara replied within minutes (even on a Sunday morning!) and worked diligently to correct the issue. We were very grateful to her for that! She was also incredibly helpful on recommendations in the area for things like groceries and firewood. The only things we’d like to suggest they consider for future guests - curtains in the bedrooms (the blinds do not block out much light at all!) and the bed in the main bedroom is not very comfortable. Also, the front walkway has a few boards that were very “soft” and dipped when walking on them, like there might not be ample support under some of them. Overall, we loved our stay and would be delighted to return if we find our way back to the St. Joseph & Warren Dunes area of MI!

Just what we needed!

Great stay with family of 3 plus dog !!!! Close to fruit stand, Warren dunes, beach bucket ice cream ! WiFi was great ! So relaxing !!! Built a fire every night! Perfect!!!

Fantastic little cottage for beach vacation

The cottage is fantastic for a vacation at the beach. Almost directly across from Warren Dunes entrance so getting to the beach was easy and accessible. The swing in the front yard was a tremendous hit with our 5 yo and 3 yo. It had all the amenities a house rental would need. It was clean, tidy and well kept. The 5 yo & 3 yo loved the bunk beds too and the master bedroom was spacious enough for the portable crib we brought for our baby. All in all, the next time we vacation at Lake Michigan, we’ll be trying to book this cottage.

Uncomfortable beds.

No frills cabin. The property itself could use some upkeep inside and out. An overall gloomy dark, damp/moldy feel. Secluded lot surrounded by trees. Great proximity to Warren dunes state park & nearby quaint towns. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. No real mattress- just two thick memory foam toppers stacked on top of each other. No starter wood was provided for the fire pit- this would’ve been nice. We left the night before checkout to avoid having to sleep in the uncomfortable beds.

Sawyer, MI cabin in the woods near Warren Dunes SP

Perfect place for my family of 5 and furbaby! Tucked away in the woods, quiet and private, great fire pit, amenities were great and owners very responsive to our very minor issues we had during our stay. Two minutes from Warren Dunes State Park and about 35 minutes from Indiana Dunes National Park, would recommend to families with pups! Thanks to Chad for coming over immediately when issues arose.

Amazing experience

The cabin was super easy to check into, close enough to I 94 and easy to find. It’s close to Warren Dunes state park, some other attractions and good food. Sara is an amazing host and super helpful. The place was super clean, the beds were comfortable, and the shower has amazing pressure. Great place. Would recommend and stay again if I’m in the area.

Excellent!

My daughter and i stayed for a long fathers day weekend. We absolutely loved it and would definately go back! The place was real homey and loved the privacy and how close it was to the warren dunes. 5 stars!
