Ocean City Beach Block-1er étage

Notre maison est située sur le 32e bloc de Central Ave., Ocean City, NJ. Nous ne sommes qu'à une maison de la plage. Il s'agit d'une courte promenade de 50 mètres de l'entrée de la plage sans rues principales à traverser. Nous avons récemment rénové l'extérieur avec de nouveaux revêtements, escaliers, garde-corps et terrasses. Nous avons également installé de nouvelles cuisines avec des comptoirs en granit et rénové les salles de bains. La taille de l'unité est d'environ 1500 pieds carrés, avec quatre chambres et 2 salles de bain. La suite principale a un lit king size et une salle de bain principale privée. Pour votre confort et votre commodité, nous avons également l'air central, une laveuse / sécheuse, Internet sans fil et 3 téléviseurs (écran LCD 40 pouces dans le salon, écran LCD 32 pouces dans la chambre principale et écran LCD 32 pouces dans la chambre lit queen) et DVD. Sont également inclus une cuisine entièrement équipée, un parking dans la rue, des douches extérieures et du stockage. Nous commençons également chaque année à fournir 4 balises de plage pour votre usage. Location en famille uniquement. Ne pas fumer ni animaux.

The house was perfect for us and felt very spacious. Everything you could need was stocked in the kitchen and the beach was just a few steps away. We'd love to stay there again.

Great family stay in OC

Great stay in OC. Is a very short walk to beach and also the playground which the kids loved. Was perfect for a stay with our three children. House and kitchen were well equipped. Will definitely be back!

Great for Extended Families

We rented both floors of this house with my parents and siblings for our annual beach week in OCNJ. The location is great, one block from the beach and within close proximity to Dot’s, Randazzos, Johnny B Goode ice cream and Hoys 5 and 10. Having both floors meant we had grandparents, aunts and uncles in close proximity to babysit! The owner Jerry was very helpful and responsive and the house was updated, clean, and spacious. We had a great trip.

Great location and amazing house!

We loved our stay! So, so close to the beach which was amazing with 2 small kids! The house is very nicely updated and you can tell has been taken care of. Really appreciated the full sized washing machine and king sized bed! Our only complaint was the one TV only plays DVDs which was an inconvenience for the one adult staying in that room. Otherwise, the house had all the dishware and ammenties that we needed for our stay. 10/10 would recommend!

Wonderful place for a family

The property was clean and updated. You can tell that the owner takes care of the property. The kitchen was well stocked and the grill outside worked well. Close to the beach. 2 blocks from the park. My only con is that the cable and networking is very slow. My daughter had to log in to work and that took awhile to get on. The decks were nice as well. We will be back!

Renting from Jerry was an excellent experience. A beautiful, well maintained property

The house is beautiful, so close to the beach that you can hear the waves when sitting on the back deck. It was an absolute pleasure being here. Jerry is very easy to communicate with, not that we had any issues. We are planning on returning as often as we can. Thank for a great experience.

Last Minute Surprise

When our other vacation house was cancelled 1 week before due to COVID, we were lucky enough to find Jerry’s Beach house. It was nicer than expected. Everything we needed and more! So close to the beach! House was very clean, and we felt safe. Host was extremely responsive and helpful. Loved our stay.

This is a fabulous property.

My husband and I have owned in Ocean City for 20 years. We recently sold and moved to Texas. We do come back every year, we are a bit fussy and typically rent from people we know. The last minute my daughter, who was recently married, decided to invite her new family, her husband's parents and sister. They came from Texas. Everyone we knew had already rented their places. We decided to rent this house. It was wonderful. It was very clean, recently remodeled with hardwood floors. It's decorated very pretty. There's plenty of room and you will feel very comfortable in this house. It's close to the beach, you don't even have to cross a street to get to the beach. It's is a great area, close to shopping and even the park. This house is highly recommended. If you are lucky enough to get this place to rent, you're lucky enough. Enjoy

The best on the beach!

We had a fantastic time staying here. The house is located within walking distance of just about everything a family with young children would want to do. Two blocks from the park, the beach access is about 100' from your back door and OC staples like uncle bills pancake house are all short walks away. We only started our car to go to the boardwalk and if my daughter was old enough to ride a bike we would have left the car keys in the house all week. The house is very open with large bedrooms and lots of sunlight. we stayed in the second floor and had a beautiful view of the ocean from the back balcony. Normally with rentals you wind up having to "make due" with whatever kitchen area you have but that is not the case here. I'll be using this one as a reference for when I remodel my own kitchen. The godshall's were very friendly and responsive from day one. Thank you for making our vacation so great!

Great Memorial Day Stay

My family and I enjoyed our stay at the Godshall's property. It is very convenient to the beach and away from the hustle of the boardwalk if you prefer. We have four children and love the boardwalk, but it is nice to have that separation. We were happy to find a property available for the Memorial Day weekend as we decided to make this trip somewhat last minute. We would consider staying at this property again in the future. Thanks again.

Great Home

Great Family Vacation

We had a great time......My daughter, Son-in-Law, 2 Granddaughters (ages 2 and 10 months) my husband and myself. We were on the first floor and the unit was clean and comfortable. There is plenty of room and closet space, also a nice deck where we had dinner and the location was perfect....Just a very short walk to the beach. We were a short walk to a lovely playground that both children enjoyed. Thanks Jerry and Laura....Hope to see you next year.

First VRBO experience a great one!

We wanted a comfortable family beach vacation and we got one! Everything noted on the VRBO website was true to form about this property, and the owners were extremely responsive. If we didn't feel like driving to the Boardwalk, it was great to be able to just walk to the beach, shops, and restaurants practically outside our door! I would definitely recommend this property for relaxed, casual family gatherings.

I have avoided family vacations at the NJ shore my entire life, but two years (2010) ago the girls in the family--two of them--prevailed over the boys--3 of them--who have prefered mountains and freshwater lakes. I fatefully stumbled across property 181874 and the surprises began. We had such a great time that we returned to the same spot this year (2011), and I am sure we will return again. The proprietors seem like really decent people. The property is well-maintained and appointed, and it is clean. What are some of the plusses of the location? For the girls (and even the boys) it was a block away from Dot's Bakery, which is the best one on the island. It's one block from the ocean, which you can see and hear easily from the balcony--it was fun to eat dusk time dinners or desserts there--and you don't have to cross any big streets--just a quiet alley--to get to the beach. There are some cute eateries within walking distance and even a nice ice cream parlor, all less than three blocks away, and one could even walk to the Acme if one wanted to do so. I really appreciated the lower level storage for bikes, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc. and the outside shower. The spaces, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dinning room, all worked well for us. We felt comfortable everywhere. There was more than enough space for the five of us and occasionally we had visitors (2) and everyone fit nicely. I really recommend it for a fun week at the beach with the family.

Thanks for the kind words. It is our goal to help families make vacation memories, and especially to help husbands and fathers who would rather be vacationing elsewhere. Remarkably, our family story is similar. As a child, our family did vacation in Ocean City; however, I much preferred the time spent at my grandfather’s cabin in the mountains of Pennsylvania. As a child, my wife spent her summers at the beach. After five years of vacationing exclusively at the mountains, my wife said it was time for a beach vacation. So in August 1998, we rented a house in OC. During that week we fell in love with OC, and we found our beach house as well. Jerry

Comfortable getaway

My family's first visit to Ocean City was made much more enjoyable by the responsive property owner and comfortable house. We arrived to find a clean, cheerful home with all the promised features. The location made it easy for kids to walk to the beach without shoes, and adults to walk to a 5&10 and great pizza place. We hope to visit again!

What a nice place to stay at. The proximity to the Beach and boardwalk was perfect.when we arrived the house was clean as a whistle and ready to use. This is a seashore house that I am going to tell all my friends about!!

As a child, our family would vacation at Ocean City one week each summer. In 1999, my wife and I decided to come back to OC with our own family of 3 young children. We fell in love with OC all over again. We spent a rainy day during our week looking at houses, and bought this house a couple months later.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We wanted to be close to the beach and this house fit our budget. The house needed some work, and the first winter after we bought it, I repainted the entire interior, installed new carpet and replaced the furniture and appliances. Each year we would make some improvements, and in 2011 and 2012, we had the entire exterior of the house redone and in 2012 new kitchens with granite counter tops. In 2019, we finished the remodeling by redoing the bathrooms.
