Our Business Model at Santorini Sunsets is to provide the best accommodations possible for our guests. We do appreciate the feedback you have provided as we use all the feedback from our guests to assist with improvements in providing a great vacation home for all to enjoy. We are truly sorry you feel this way, but we are not surprised. Your emailing was way too excessive and began even before your arrival. Nothing seemed to bring you comfort. We are always happy to hear from our guests and help with any issues if there are any; but your emails were overwhelming and unusual. You seemed to have a predisposed attitude of unsatisfaction from the beginning . Your review consists of issues you were aware of prior to booking. For starters you stated that there are too many steps and a loft with no door, but this is what is advertised in our listing and many people appreciate the charm of the loft in a beach house. The mattresses are all brand new and we have had no complaints other than from you. It is not our responsibility to provide you with toilet paper. Sorry, but you need to either make a trip to the store or bring enough with you. We ensure there are rolls in each bathroom for every new guest, but resupply is on you. We have not had any issues with road noise. You cannot get around vehicles with modified exhaust mufflers, especially pickup trucks and Jeeps heading to the 4'x4 area. Then you complained about “water bugs “at 11:53pm one day prior to departure but refused to let our Pest Control Team in the house to investigate or treat. You also refused to show them a picture of what was a “water bug". Santorini Sunsets is contracted with a Pest Control company as a preventative measure and treated every two weeks at minimum. If it were a problem, you should have let our team come in and handle it, but again you did not. Thank you for acknowledging how nicely decorated our home is, as we take pride in all our furnishings. You failed to acknowledge how clean the house is, the great location and all the wonderful amenities. The only thing one can say at this point is the that it does not appear that anything would have made you happy and the fact that you spent every day emailing us instead of getting into your vacation is sad. While we strive to make our guests happy; at this point I am certain that nothing we could have done or offered would have satisfied you . In the future, please consider staying in a hotel. They provide Toilet paper.

Laura, We are so happy you enjoyed your stay at Santorini Sunsets and that the house exceeded your expectations. We take great pride in ensuring that the property is kept clean and well maintained. In light of the fact that you had 2 dogs inside the property and you checked out over 30 minutes late delaying the cleaning crew’s ability to do their job which not only impacted our property but several other properties thereafter. We must be considerate of the fact that these people work very hard and must maintain a very tight cleaning schedule for not only our property but for several other properties. Extra cleaning fees were required to remove the pet hair and dander from the two dogs that you had in the property of which we did NOT CHARGE you. This is in direct conflict with our lease agreement and business model. Although we love dogs we must be considerate of other guests who have pet allergies. We also accommodated you with an early check in-time but were very clear of the strict 9:00am checkout time that must be adhered too. You have to understand that your late check out resulted into a late check in time for other guests. We do not feel that it is “creepy “when permanent residents in the community provide us with feedback on the status of our property especially issues and matters that violate our lease agreement. Again we are glad you enjoyed your stay.
