Really loved this property. Close enough to town and RMNP for convenience, far enough away for peace. I will say, Iâm an a/c guy. If I noticed this place did not have a/c, I would not have booked it. That being said, between the fans and having the windows open it was comfortable, and even chilly at times, even in July. I only got a little hot when the temperature was 89 outside, but by evening it was fine again. Loved it, would come again.
We loved our stay at Morning Glory and the pictures do not do it justice. Great location, well stocked, beautiful, and the perfect place for our family.
We love Estes. This our 4th consecutive year renting a house. This house was top of our list for the house itself and location to Estes and RMNP. It ranked bottom for contents. The linens were stained, torn and old. The kitchen was not equipped with items such as dish soap, paper towels, plastic wrap, garbage sacksâŠ. All things the other properties furnished, at the same price point. All in all, great physical house, just disappointed in the lack of care given to the extra touches that make a house feel like a cozy relaxing get away.
The property was beautiful. Had an absolutely lovely stay. We enjoyed the town and the mountains. The check-in process (driving to the office to get keys) was a hassle, especially since we had gotten in about midnight - but that is the only "issue". This is the 4th time we've stayed in Estes, and this is the best house we've had so far.
Very quiet and tranquil log home up in the mountains at the end of the road. Although we didnât see any wild life on the property we saw Elk in downtown Estes and neighborhoods. Comfortable beds and well stocked kitchen. Drove up trail ridge road and hiked several lakes. RMNP is breathtakingly beautiful.
We had a wonderful stay! We stayed at the property for about a week and a half. The view from the hot tub is incredible. The owners were super responsive to anything we needed. The home was very cozy. Would definitely recommend!!
Beautiful views off the deck. Great location, close to town and Rocky Mountain National Park. Nice to have the bedrooms on separate levels. Hot tub was dirty and the downstairs has a spider problem. Overall, nice place great location just needs a little TLC.
This property is exceptional. In a secluded area but close enough to town to walk and 3 minutes from the park entrance. The view from the hot-tub is breathtaking and the amenities were very comfortable. Weâre already talking about coming back and renting it again! Loved this house!
We, our two daughters, and their families stayed here for a week. It was perfect for our group of seven. Each family got their own bedroom and bathroom which was great for having our own space while the kitchen, dining, and living rooms were great areas to gather. The view is spectacular. Hot tub was a hit.
Had a wonderful time in Estes Park, and the house was perfect for what we needed. Quiet location, close to town and the national park. The listing indicates a need for 4WD vehicle to navigate the steep driveway, and that is accurate. The property manager was very responsive when we needed more sand/salt to manage the driveway ice.
Property is great. View is amazing from the deck while sitting in the hot tub. Saw a lot of turkey and elk while here. Only drawback was we were there in winter and the road to the property and once there the driveway isnât well maintained for winter driving.
We had a wonderful stay, the unit was clean and as described. The rug runners near the front door/laundry room entrance could be replaced, as they are very worn and stained. (first impression when you walk in the door).
Absolutely stunning, spacious with gorgeous views. Even though other houses were nearby, it felt totally secluded and private. Great room layout so each room could have some privacy as all rooms were on separate floors. Loved the gas fireplace. Property management was very responsive. Listing was very accurate and the property was exactly what I was expecting when I got there. Excellent WiFi. Definitely recommend to my friends!! Loved it!!
This was the perfect location for 7 of us to hang out for a long weekend! The cabin was comfortably furnished and conveniently located to both Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes Park. The cabin was clean and equipped with bedding, bath and kitchen linen, and basic kitchen supplies making packing easy. They even provided games and basic outdoor items! The views from the living room and deck are gorgeous and we even saw a deer in the backyard and plenty of elk in the neighborhood. The warning to bring an suv is spot onâŠthe driveway is no joke but doable with the proper vehicle and either a backup camera or a spotter.
This was really a great place to stay - roomy, clean, great view, quiet neighborhood and very well appointed. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking gear, the bathrooms were clean and well stocked and I loved that we were able use the garage even though my truck didn't fit in it. All-in-all it was a really great place to stay and we would definitely see if it was available for our next trip.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The location was perfect. It is close to downtown Estes but far enough away to make it feel more private. The view from the house is breathtaking. The house is very comfortable and spacious. The kitchen had some spices and plenty of cook/bake ware to make meals.
This house is wonderfully situated. It's on a large mountain-side lot with plenty of room for the kids to explore, and yet it is just a short drive away from the main drag and all the fun in downtown Estes.
The house is wonderful, about everything a family needs. The kids love the hot tub and we loved the views. The house is very roomy and has more space then the pictures show. Very clean.
The only downfall is the driveway . This would be no problem in the summer but is nearly impassible in the winter. On arrival to the cabin, there was so much ice on the lower driveway our 4 wheel drive vehicle got 1/4 way up and slid all the way down. I had to drive back to town to get chains for the SUV to get all the way up. It did snow 6 inches that night and the next day the driveway had 3-4 foot drifts which could not be passed. We called the management company at 10 am to see if they were going to plow the driveway so we could make it into town. At noon, still nothing so called again - promised they'd be there immediately. Finally at 3 pm the plow came and due to the ice/snow/steepness, it took them an hour to clear the drive as he could not get up. Overall, ruined the entire day that we had planned outside the cabin.
Overall, would highly recommend this place in the summer - we will likely book again ourselves in non-snow months. I would not book again unless the driveway is fixed or they management company can clear the snow/ice better.
We actually really loved this house! The quiet location, the kitchen that has just about everything you could need, the large family room/dining area, the three separate levels of bedrooms, and the beautiful view off the deck with a hot tub to boot! Truly a great spot!! But, honestly, finding our sheets stained (they were clean, just clearly stained), crusty white âsomethingâ on the cover of the pillow sham, and then finding something that had dripped onto the bed skirt and driedâŠ..all kind of put a damper on our feelings about this place. I assume the comforter on our bed (it matched the shams) had not been changed or washed between stays. There were some cobwebs and dust, and that I could understandâŠ..but not bedding. A few things also needed attention - a huge hole in the wall going up the stairs, missing garage door openers, and a blind that is partially broken. I did call and report the bigger things just so they would know.
We would have loved to have given this 5 stars, but just couldnât quite do that. Hoping they give this house a little more TLC/attention and up their cleaning procedures. It could easily be a perfect place to stay!!
