We had a great time staying here. You cannot beat the location. We loved being right across the street from the beach. We cannot wait to come back on our next trip to Anna Maria Island.
This property is a great bargain, so close to the beach. It was clean and well appointed with everything we needed for a relaxing week on Anna Maria. Although the keypad was tricky to operate, it did work. The beach right across the street has a beachside cafe with live music every day, lots of free parking and a lively atmosphere. We enjoyed hanging out there, listening to the music while waiting for the sunsets. Communication with our host was excellent. We enjoyed our stay very much.
The stay was great. Michael and Jennifer are fantastic hosts. The apartment was well furnished and the location right on the beach was stunning. We had a wonderful few weeks on AMI. Thank you.
Best regards

The place is as advertised. Very clean and has everything you need. Great location. About a 3 minute walk to the beach. About 5 minutes to CVS and Publix, shopping and restaurants. Michael is very responsive. Would stay again.
Our vacation was perfect ! We had one mishap with the air and the owner was promptly on top of it within 15 minutes it was fixed ! The owners were very kind and personable . This was our first visit to AMI and it was great! Steps from the beach, you have everything you need right at the tips of your fingers ! We rented a golf cart and saved gas on the island - make sure you get a gas cart - no electric plugs outside . Otherwise it was a phenomenal place to stay. Canât wait for our next trip! Thank you for a beautiful place for our vacation.
While we did not receive the original check-in info on day of arrival, the owners responded immediately by resending info. Location was a short walk across the street from the beach, and appreciated the wheeling cart for towels and toys. Walking distance to grocery store and pharmacy. Beach was lovely.
A few areas have some room for improvement:
-Pull out couch could use an upgrade, uncomfortable and slanted in wrong direction and was, unfortunately, unusable as a bed.
-Would recommend owners leave laundry detergent (especially if asking guests to do their own laundry before leaving!).
-Moldy shower tile could use a good deep cleaning
-Could make guests slightly more comfortable by leaving 1-2 replacement garbage bags, Saran wrap/ Tupperware for leftovers, sufficient soap, or other relatively basic essentials that travelers are not going to want to purchase for a short stay.
The deck chairs, not comfortable , cracked, could be replaced and no place to eat outside on the deck, no outside working light on the deck, the toilet, had to flush twice, TV should have cable not just running apps as this would constantly freeze up
I really enjoyed staying at Casa Coconut. I was in Unit 1 and it was perfect for me and my visitors! A 2 minute walk to the beautiful beach that is literally across the street! The location is great because you are in walking distance to the grocery store, CVS, restaurants and souvenir shops. The owners are very pleasant and responsive to any concerns. The onsite laundry certainly made that chore easier. Definitely a memorable experience!
We rented the property for spring break, myself, my two sons aged 9 and almost 13 and my parents. Overall everything neat and clean, nice that it is stocked w everything you need for the beach and itâs walking distance to manatee beach. The island was a little busier than we anticipated due to spring break but gorgeous beach overall great stay!
Was a great location and very easy to get around . Very clean and lots of amenities at the house. There are people that live below and do not like any noise. Also the futon in the living room can really just sleep one person unless small children. Overall a great rental and we had an amazing time.
The property was clean and access to the public beach was quick and easy. The appliances are all new and the pictures online accurately advertise the home. Even though the island was crowded for Spring Break, the area around the property was quiet.
It is important to note that you need to purchase everything - toilet paper (there was not even one roll when we arrived), trash bags, dish soap, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, bar soap, etc. Publix's and the Dollar Store are a quick walk.
I would suggest replacing the rugs in the house and the front doormat as well as adding a tv to the master bedroom at least (if not to both bedrooms).
We would rent the property again.
Welcome to our home on Anna Maria Island! We are retired from Ohio. A former school teacher, principal and retired Lieutenant in the fire service. We have three grown children and a grandchild. We moved to AMI to live our fullest and warmest life possible! We look forward to you staying with us. âJennifer & Michael
