The location was good, not to close to being in the middle of town! It was nice and quiet. We cooked most meals in, and the kitchen was adequately stocked for what we needed. I'd come back to this place again.

Wood-burning fireplace! Yay! It is a great place; no complaints. The bathroom could/should be updated soon. Kitchen was well equipped Lot's of extra pillows and blankets Overall, awesome place

Nice little place but could use a little more TLC

The location is great when Eagle Logde is open, walk to the lifts. Quite area easy to get too. The interior was perfect for small family. Linens were clean and the kitchen was well equipped and also clean. There were a couple of things that needed tending to on the ceiling in the bedroom and bathroom. I have a few pictures I could share if you would like.

Our stay 10/19-23

Sofa bed frame held together with duct tape — dangerous & uncomfortable…..should be replaced. Regulator on the gas grill leaks/is faulty. Smelled propane while in use. Grill setting not adjustable regardless of hi/low setting. The grill was either off or in “burn mode” (extremely hot). Need lids in the pantry for pots & pans. One small pot lid was all I could find. I brought a large fry pan from home to fry bacon (with a lid) so as not to splatter grease everywhere.

This is a 1-bedroom apartment with full bathroom, kitchen and large living room. Two can sleep in the bedroom and two - on the sofa in the living room. There is a fireplace in the living room, and a little balcony with a small grill. The overall impression is that it needs repairing ASAP. Carpets are heavily stained and are overdue for replacement. Kitchenette is nice; there is stove, sink, dishwasher, drip coffeemaker, toaster, and refrigerator. Plates, cups, glasses are available. Frying pans are all covered in what looks like 100-year old soot. There is something that looks like mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. There is obvious water damage and a large hole (!) in the ceiling in the bedroom. The bedroom bedding looked new. Towels in the bathroom looked new and were of good quality. There is a single lock on the door, which looked weak; there was no additional security guard or bolt. There are probably 20 apartments in the building, but there were no one else there, so we did not hear anyone else. There is an outdoor pool and two Jacuzzi on the property, looked clean. The tennis courts are unusable, with cracked surface and fallen chain fence. The location of the property is great, 5 min to Mammoth Village, 15 min to lakes, 40 min to Reds Meadows, 1-hr to Yosemite.

Cute Condo

I loved the location. Close to everything. Decorated nice. Just have a few suggestions. You’d do well to replace a very load fridge…the master bedroom mattress was not real comfortable…the carpet was terribly stained…and perhaps the shower/bathroom could be updated. But all in all we enjoyed our stay and it was perfect for my wife and I and our little pooch Bailey.

Vacasa is a terrible company. Horrendous customer service!

Property management reached out to us 5 mins. before check in at 3:56pm and gave us the option because of excessive dog urine stains in the unit from the previous guests to either: cancel/refund (we drove from 6 hours away and we didn't have a lot of options by 4 pm) or, offered us another unit that wasn't as nice as the one we reserved or said we could reschedule our vacation when we would clearly already be in Mammoth with nowhere else to go. We have been coming to Mammoth for years to attend a family reunion with family from all over, and this year, we were meeting to memorialize one of our family members who had passed. We had so many arrangements to handle and a funeral to attend here on Tuesday. I didn't have time to deal with the hassle of re-packing up our things, reloading our car, moving to this other location or spend a bunch of time on the phone with one of the agents or cleaning crews to try and straighten this out. We had other things to manage right when we arrived and this was really not good. We told the agent who was trying to relocate us that we were attending a funeral and we would just have to stay there as long as we weren't going to be held responsible for the mess the previous guests left. He kept saying there was no other places left except for the one the Vacasa agency was trying to give us. Then we spoke with the cleaning crew who said they could come in to clean while we were out. I took photos and said it was really up to their schedule but we were only staying until Thursday. We've never had a terrible experience like this ever and it really put a terrible damper on an already sad, upsetting and emotional stay. I think if they wanted to relocate us, an upgrade and not a downgrade would've been much better than the options that were given to us. Also a way better and much sooner "heads up" rather than the 4 or so minutes left in a message directly before check in, probably while we were in the process of unpacking, that I didn't even see until we were already moved in. All in all, not a very satisfying experience for customers who were expecting at least some respite during a very difficult time. I don't know what else to say. We checked out Thursday and the cleaning crew has photos of the stains made by the previous guests. Scary if this us how Vacasa regularly conducts business.

Great location, Couple issues

Location close to Eagle lodge cant be beat - 5 minute walk. Toilet was very finicky, had to constantly take lid off and adjust to get it to flush properly. Heater in corner of unit far from bedroom meant temp in the unit was pretty inconsistent. All in all, good place!

Great place! Clean, organized. Hot tub was clean and nice, not crowded. Very comfortable bed and enough room for our family of 4. Would definitely rent again :)

Nice Location

The condo location is great. Quiet, clean, and safe facility. Pool and laundry room is close to condo. Pros about the condo: roomy, big smart tvs in living room and bedroom, big comfy sofas and recliner, kitchen was equipped with everything you need to cook with, bbq grill on patio. Cons: firm king bed was uncomfortable to sleep on, needs updated light switch in bathroom, needs the carpets shampooed, screen slider kept coming on the tracks. Recommend a floor length mirror in bathroom or in bedroom and a new mattress in master bedroom. Overall nice stay and if given the chance we would return again. I would just pack more pillows. Our kids enjoyed the board games.

Great location, horrible management communication

Great location to the slopes, great rental over all but Vacasa is a joke to deal with. Specifically asked if there would be firewood in the unit, first the said “NO” not normally provided, then I received an email from them stating there is firewood Nov - Feb...Guess what NO firewood...I have Never stayed in a winter rental where NO firewood was provided. My problem wasn’t so much with the unit but with the rental management company who doesn’t provide firewood or make their clients provide firewood in the winter...as much as the make on their rental, this is downright cheap! Also the bunk beds need some work and are unsafe!

Run down, old appliances, no firewood provided

The bed is rock hard, the heating system is sub-par/ancient and doesn't really work. Despite the listing stating otherwise, firewood is not provided so expect to buy a ton to keep the unit warm. Cable is the free/off-brand variety (do yourself a favor and bring a chromecast). Internet worked and was definitely the highlight (something worked!) Fridge is on its last legs and sounds like an old dishwasher 24/7. Bathtub is ancient, showerhead is at about 5 feet tall, knob is loose and hard to manage. No closet space to speak of, the only unlocked closet is full of the owners' property with labels stating if any of it is opened a guest may be charged $200. The building is very old, you can definitely hear everything happening in any of the units around it. This was our first bad vacasa experience. We were very disappointed.
