We’re sorry for the trouble with the door code at check-in. This is not reflective of our normal operations, and we are looking into the issue internally. We appreciate your patience while our team provided the correct code shortly after your arrival and apologize for the inconvenience. The home is currently undergoing several upgrades, and we apologize that some temporary solutions impacted your experience. The temporary paper shades have since been replaced with the permanent blinds. The shower curtains were also intended as a temporary solution while we awaited the glass shower door, which is expected to arrive in the coming weeks and will be installed once received. Lastly, thank you for your feedback regarding the bath mats. One mat is provided outside the shower, though we understand it may not cover the entire bathroom floor. We’ll keep your feedback in mind as we consider future updates to the home. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue making improvements, and we’re sorry for the impact these issues had on your stay. We have a checkout time of 10:00 AM at all of our properties to allow us enough time to prepare the property for our next guests. We always do our best to accommodate late check out requests, however, we are not always able to offer later checkouts than our stated time. As for the bed in the master bedroom, we are sorry to hear about the inconvenience you experienced as this is the first negative feedback regarding the bed we have received. Guest safety and comfort are our top priorities, and we will assess the situation to make any necessary adjustments to ensure a more pleasant stay. We are also sorry for the delay in providing you with parking information. We have reviewed our communication and have added the parking information to our directions for the unit. Regarding the dog barking issue, we understand that this can be disruptive and unpleasant and apologize for the inconvenience during your stay with us! If you ever stay with us again, we would be more than happy to bring items such as this up with the HOA or the unit and the dog’s owner. The HOA rules at this property state that excessive barking is not allowed. Thank you again for your feedback. Hi Mary and Ralph, We are glad to hear that you had a five star stay with us, but terribly sorry for any confusion caused at the beginning of your stay! After our housekeeping team departs, we have a separate member of our inspections team do a final walkthrough of our homes, to inspect for any damage caused by the previous guest, address any minor required repairs, report larger repairs, and ensure that our housekeeping standards were met. After this team member departs the home, they send the email to the guest letting them know the home is ready for check-in. During our peak summer season with staffing shortages in the area, these inspections are sometimes completed until a few minutes after 4PM, which sounds like is what happened here. These staffing shortages are unfortunately what also caused your home not to be ready for early check-in. We hope this clears things up! Cheers, The Outpost Crew
