This is our second time here. Just love this place! So relaxing and beautiful. Conveniently located. Best part is we can bring our dogs and they can swim. Just love it! We will be back again. Thanks Jen for letting us use your beautiful home!

Perfect for my group!

My friends and I stayed here for a long weekend, enjoying the lake and hitting some local wineries. It’s in an awesome location and was just the perfect waterfront spot for a short trip!

The cottage was right on the lake, very nice, clean, and open. The covered porch was a plus. Family and pet friendly. Close to Geneva, Penn Yan, and Watkins Glen. Wegmans in Geneva for groceries. Good food nearby...Smokin' Petes BBQ and Ports Cafe were favorites. Excellent wineries as well. The hosts communicated well and were very accommodating.

Lovely Stay

This cottage was perfect for our family when we visited the area to attend a wedding. The location was fabulous and it couldn’t be closer to the lake. The weather wasn’t on our side at the beginning but eventually the sun came out and we could drop our kayaks in the beautiful lake. Inside the cottage has everything you could need and was very clean and comfortable.

This is a lovely cottage, clean and comfortable. The lake is just out the back door and we were able to watch the sun rise each morning. The yard was a nice size to take our dog out in and she was comfortable in the house. It is well stocked, but there was no hairdryer, so bring one with you if you need it. The beds are very soft but the blankets and sheets provided were very nice.

Fabulous lake get away!!!

Our time staying at Jennifer’s cottage was outstanding. It was warm and comfy. She had everything you could possibly need. Best of all it is steps away to the lake. You could not ask for a prettier setting!!! We were allowed to bring are dogs and they were in heaven too. There are also fabulous wineries right down the street and wonderful hiking close by. We can’t wait to come back again! If you come here you wouldn’t be disappointed. It’s just wonderful!!!!

Septic vent sending bad smells into the house, on both days. Only 4 of us there, shouldnt overwhelm a listing that states it "sleeps 7". That is overstated, however, as only four were in two bedrooms. Not comfortable beds. Dusty and cobwebs all over. Street sounds obliterate lake sounds, so it isnt serene. I can tell they are DIYing a little getaway, but it doesnt suit for hosting. I went from room to room, in succession over only two minutes to change all 3 units to heater mode and still get multiple messages from host, even though I did it correctly. Not returning. Don't recommend. Ran out of Toilet paper, toiletries, no bottled water...2 pods for the Keurig? Feels like an inexperienced host.

There is not a vent that sends septic smells into the cottage. We have a Smart system for our cooling and heating and I could see she was trying to change the heating and was trying to be helpful as sometimes people get confused. It has an updated split units system. I think this guest was disgruntled because when they left and I went down to clean they had left the oven on and I messaged them about this as this is dangerous. I think this review is a result of that.

The property and house were great. The owners are friendly and responsive. The new deck is a nice addition and will keep you dry when it rains.

Great Little Cottage on Peaceful Lake

My wife and I had a great time while at this property. Cozy cottage that had everything we needed. Even though the weather was cool and cloudy, the view being right on the lakefront, was great. The owners are honest, genuine folks who are making improvements to the cottage. We were glad to meet them and help contribute to their ambitious plans by staying at the home. Access to the property is quite private and is literally at the end of the shared drive. There is a train track behind the property, but there were only 1-2 trains per day and they were short and not bothersome at all. Another unique feature: a tiny creek drains from the hills and comes right beside the cabin. The trickling sounds of the creek are an asset to the whole ambience of the place. We recommend this home and wish the owners the best as they continue to make this home such a cozy place to stay!

Autumn Getaway

What a wonderful few days for an autumn getaway. Spent 3 nights at this house with a friend and her 2 dogs. Went to wineries around Seneca and Keuka Lakes, hiked Taughannock Falls, and used our own paddleboards right off the stone beach in the backyard. Would highly recommend this property for a small group who wants a waterfront location and an exceptional experience with the homeowners.

Spectacular sunrise and sunsets....

Perfect location, quaint cottage located on the water...its charming. The owners are making great improvements and we will be back to see the progress. This was a great spot for my daughter and I to have as home base while we toured colleges up in the area! While a bit chilly in March the place was cozy with heaters. Plus they allow dogs so we were able to bring our new puppy! Love the location in heart of wine country!

Lakefront Cottage

What a great place for us to stay for the week as we prepped and prepared for our son’s wedding at Belhurst Castle. The location was excellent and the amenities awesome. It was just what we needed to hang out and enjoy friends and family. The lake was amazing and the cute and quaint cottage made it so relaxing! The hosts are fantastic and very accommodating and thoughtful.
