À propos de cet hébergement

La Serenity Zen House est perchée de façon unique surplombant le lac Seneca. C'est l'endroit idéal pour une escapade dans les Finger Lakes. Il y a plusieurs excellentes caves à moins d'un mile de la maison et il est proche de toutes les attractions de Finger Lakes. Idéal pour les familles, les couples et les groupes qui cherchent à s'évader pour quelques jours de plaisir. À seulement 10 minutes de Hobart et William Smith.

Il y a une grande cuisine donnant sur le lac. Le salon a une cheminée à gaz avec un plafond cathédrale et une vue magnifique sur le lac.

La suite principale dispose d'un lit king-size et offre une vue imprenable sur le lac. Il y a un lit queen dans chacune des deux autres chambres. Des lits pliants sont également disponibles.

Il y a deux salles de bain modernes avec une baignoire / douche dans le bain d'invité et une grande douche avec siège dans la salle de bain principale.

La maison dispose de vastes terrasses à plusieurs niveaux donnant sur le lac,
Il y a une plage privée avec accès en bas d'un escalier et la plage a une pente douce dans le lac pour patauger et nager.

Situé sur une route de la ville, la maison est très facile d'accès et est idéalement située à seulement 10 miles au sud de Genève et à 25 miles au nord de Watkins Glen au cœur de la région viticole de Finger Lakes.

Comfortable cabin by the lake with stunning views

Enjoyed a lovely stay at this cabin right on Seneca Lake. The view of the sunrise over the lake was just amazing. Beautiful and peaceful location. Plenty of space in the cabin. We cooked and the new stove was great. Fireplace was cozy on cool evenings. We definitely hope to return!

Excellent location, right on the lake. House has an open type concept & very cozy. Was winter when we stayed, & was warm & enjoyable. Rooms were good size & private. Great house great location, we'd definitely stay here again.

The house is right on the water and has perfect view of the lake. Jim the owner couldn’t be nicer and helpful. Will book again.

Perfect Home Base

Everything was as described, there were no surprises, and perfect location. Jim was very responsive when our trip was delayed and assisted with two pages of local wineries, places to eat and sights to see. Have already recommended and would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful views, central location

This was one of the cleanest VRBO vacation homes we've stayed in. Beautiful views of the lake, amazing outdoor space. House was an easy drive to both Geneva and Penn Yan, our two favorite towns to visit in the Finger Lakes. Was super helpful that both our dogs could come spend the weekend with us and had plenty of space to play.

Great house on the Lake

This was perfect for my three boys and our dog. The gated deck and dock were a great place to hang. The house was clean and beds comfortable. Linens etc was all as expected. The dead end street is nice and quiet as well. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely lovely place with lake access and views

My husband, dog, & I stayed here for 4 nights and I wish we had more time because it was wonderful. The house is open, has a nice kitchen, a spacious primary bedroom, & two guest rooms. Everything was organized and clean and check in & out were super easy. Everything was accurate to the listing and photos provided. There's a huge dock as well as a second deck by the water and a little beach area that's perfect for younger kids that want to play rather than swim. By the dock there's a lot of weeds, but if you swim out deeper you can enjoy the water. I'd suggest water shoes as the rocks are slippery but easy to navigate with shoes on. I was a bit worried about the stairs down to the water as I have bad knees, but even I was able to navigate the stairs going slowly. It's the about the same as two flights of stairs in a house. Pretty much everywhere in the house that faces the water has amazing views. There's a nice table and grill on the deck. We had some friends visit for dinner and their two young children had a great time swimming and enjoying the deck. The place is very dog friendly and our dog loved having the freedom to roam inside the house or outside on the enclosed deck. There isn't central AC but the unit in the main area & bedrooms worked great and we were fine on 85 degree days. It is right next to the train tracks and the trains are pretty loud, but they're super short so it never bothered us. I highly recommend the Serenity Zen House!

Finger Lakes Fun

We had a wonderful stay at Serenity Zen. The house was in a great location to explore Wineries, Breweries, great restaurants and NY State Parks. We especially enjoyed our time on the deck overlooking Seneca Lake and using the provided kayaks. We plan on coming back!

Great Lake Location

This house was very clean and in a comfortable location. All neighbors were quiet. The multiple decks (including the dock space) were laid out well. All of the basics were there for our use, and the owner was available should we have needed anything. We would stay there again.

Great first visit to the Finger Lakes - thank you!

Our family of four visited for a wonderfully long week. Highlights of this property: Beautiful view Easy access to lake Quiet and peaceful on the lake Skipping stone heaven :) House stocked with many amenities we would normally travel with - a big treat! Two bathrooms and a full three bedrooms Lots of space Host communication excellent Close to “other things to do” and restaurants, groceries If you’re visiting for the first time, don’t miss: Watkins Glen trails Sans Dumplings The Spotted Duck Once (one stop unique wine tastings) Amity Coffee Watershed Brewing Black Squirrel Farm tour - native black walnut A drive up and around through Geneva - enjoy the history, walk around, beautiful! Things you might want to know: You still will be in the car, but short drives Wegmans is very helpful to have nearby There is laundry at the house now!!! It is an all-in-one machine, so loads take time. But it is so helpful to have Bring towels for the lake/boats Nearby outfitter will deliver and pick up additional boats - the house has two singles. Ask if they take payment other than cash - or bring enough cash Lake is fantastic for paddling - kayak and SUP time everyday Natural lake bottom, rocks, and vegetation (yay!) - your kids might want water shoes or the like until they adjust The a/c works very well, but bedroom window units can be loud There’s a train! It’s short, and infrequent, but can be loud The kitchen is well-stocked and ready to cook/eat any food you want to bring

Serenity at the Lake

We had a peaceful, relaxing week at the lake. This is a truly beautiful property. The multiple deck set-up is great. The area was surprisingly quiet - not much activity on the lake in early July. There were many wineries near by. The property had plenty of adirondack chairs, floats for the lake, bikes, rocking chairs, a large grill. I'm not sure what else we could ask for. There was even a Keurig machine and a washer/dryer combo that were not in the listing. We would love to come back!

Family vacation in F.L.X.

What an amazing house for our family vacation. It’s so well stocked and the owner is fast to get back to answer your every question! Outside of the house isn’t much to look at but once you open the front door, wow! The views and space are great! The outside space is breathtaking! We took advantage of the kayaks, water floats and bikes and had a great time. The house is close to several excellent wineries and not far from many others. I can’t say enough about this vacation home! Hope to come back again!

Piece of Heaven!!

It was a perfect get away for our family. We enjoyed the “serenity” of the lake and the spacious home with private deck and all the modern amenities. Also loved the dock and small private beach just a few steps below. Total relaxation with awesome lake views! Close to some fun activities in the surrounding area as well. The complete package!

Lakeside Paradise

This vacation property was everything we wanted. Beautiful views; comfortable deck seating; furnishings comfy and welcoming; privacy; and a location surrounded by quaint villages and wineries. The fenced-in deck was a bonus for our dog and gave us peace of mind too. We will return!

Great location!

Beautiful views off multiple decks and beach area. Very clean and comfortable. Loved the table in kitchen. Perfect for playing games in the evening. Easy to work in and well stocked kitchen. Great location for getting to Watkins Glen and many wineries. Truly enjoyed our stay.

Great for 2 couples

The kitchen was well stocked, and the beds were very comfortable. It was a couples retreat so one couple had a bigger room/bed than the other but it still worked out well. Beautiful deck and lake views. The owner had a quick response and was very friendly. If definitely recommend this house!

Serenity on Seneca Lake

It was our first visit to the Finger Lakes region and we will definitely return! The location of Serenity Zen house was perfect with quiet neighborhood and amazing views of the lake. The four of us enjoyed coffee on the deck while watching the sunrise and also sat on the dock to absorb the beauty of the lake. The owner, Jim was easy to communicate with and answered any questions in a timely manner. The house was very clean and inviting. Hiking trails and wineries were close by and we had fun exploring them. Overall, it was a very positive experience!

Family Getaway to FLX

My husband and I met up with my sister and her husband for a trip to Upstate and the lakes. Great location on Seneca Lake. House was perfect size, great lake views, decks and a boat dock. Loved all the mini fireplaces throughout the home. Well equipped kitchen. If we get to repeat this trip we would stay here again!
