The apartment has stunning sea views and lovely open balcony. The beach is virtually on the doorstep, and a good supermarket within walking distance.The host always communicated via VRBO, but we had several issues during our 5-week stay, some resolved, some not, others we didn’t bother to complain about.On arrival, the bedroom light, some bathroom lights and one kitchen light were not working. The kitchen light was repaired twice, bedroom and bathroom were not. The kitchen cupboards were in poor condition, with one door already detached and another hanging off its hinge, limiting use of the items inside.There were only three mugs in an apartment advertised for six guests, no tin opener, limited kitchen cupboard space, and only one working remote control for the three air-conditioning units. The host purchased mugs but as we had to collect them from the cleaner’s home 20 minutes away, we bought our own. The host responded quickly to replacing the leaking kettle.The main bed was extremely comfortable with luxury linen, but my 78-year-old brother found the foam mattress in the second bedroom exceptionally hard, uncomfortable and difficult to make. Finding replacement linen during our stay was also difficult as the linen cupboard seemed short of our requirements.Great location (away from the hustle and bustle of Benidorm Town) and spectacular views, but it would benefit from better maintenance, improved kitchen equipment, and more attention to second bedroom guest comfort.
