Regarding the plumbing issue: our investigation, including the pre-check-in video and the plumber’s photos, showed the valve under the sink had been turned during your stay, which caused the sound of rushing water you heard. We responded in person within 30 minutes despite it being close to midnight, at a time you had agreed to. Unfortunately, no one answered the door upon arrival, which prevented the issue from being corrected immediately and resulted in us having to shut off water to that bathroom from the basement to stop further flooding in the basement. We offered early morning times (7 a.m. and 8:30 a.m.) to fix it quickly, but those were declined as too early. We ultimately secured someone to come in the afternoon, given our rural area and limited plumber availability. While that one bathroom was shut off, the home has two bathrooms, both with running water. We appreciate your understanding that we did everything possible to address it promptly and prevent additional damage. Thank you again for your stay and for sharing your thoughts.
