Cet adorable chalet de plage construit dans les années 1950 offre des tonnes de charme et d'histoire. À quelques minutes de la plage, cette maison est située à quelques pas de l'accès à la plage publique. Vous pouvez également profiter de la brise et des vues incroyables sur la plage tout en vous relaxant ou en dînant sur le porche grillagé. Il y a beaucoup de stationnement et beaucoup d'espace pour passer du temps avec des amis ou en famille. Peut accueillir jusqu'à 11 personnes si vous utilisez les deux canapés dans l'espace de vie ainsi que le canapé dans la salle à manger (des draps jumeaux sont fournis pour ces canapés).

Can't say enough about every single solitary thing about this wonderful home. There was nothing we needed that the owners had not thought of before we even needed it. Spices, utensils, knives, beach supplies , Tupperware...too much to list. Beautiful and clean and the screened porch is only one of very few on the island.I can't wait to book and come back for a longer stay. Thank you so much for sharing this gem!

Vintage and Cozy Beach House

This place had everything my family needed for a great price. The bathrooms and kitchen were very nicely done, looks like a recent remodel. The home was very tastefully decorated with lots of mid-century modern furniture, decor, and kitchenware. The home has a washer and dryer and a cordless vacuum to get all the sand up! Would definitely recommend anyone to stay there. The beach is literally a few minutes away just over the dunes.

Relaxing stay

Very comfortable home. Close to the beach. Many thoughtful touches. Beautiful updated bathroom Eating outside on the covered porch was so nice. The bed was memory foam-not used to that and not a fan, personally. I would stay again without hesitation!

Charming Beach House

I highly recommend this place. It is the best stocked home we have ever stayed in on a vacay. Perfect location. Exceptionally clean. Super cute ! I was excited to see they had a book series by one of my favorite authors that I read, and we played some of the board games they had as well. (The Goonies :)) all the comforts of home away from home!

Wonderful Stay

Just what we were looking for to get away for two weeks. House is warm and cozy. While we were there it was both warm and cold and everything was fine. Steps away from the beach and everything you need for an enjoyable stay. House has everything you need along with gracious hosts.

Wonderful Thanksgiving Break

This is our second time staying at the Elma Catherine. It’s a spacious house. Super comfortable and clean. The kitchen has been updated since our first stay and it is great. Fully equipped. A short walk to the beach. We love it here.

Cute and Great Location

Cute MCM style and great sleeping arrangements. A quick easy walk to the beach. Owners were very helpful and communicative. We'll look for this property if we come back to Dauphin Island in the future.

Lovely home just a short walk from the beach!

We would absolutely stay here again! The home is beautifully decorated and cozy. The screened porch was our favorite part. We had coffee in the rocking chairs in the morning and played games at the table at night. The walk to the beach was much shorter than I imagined. It’s an easy walk made even easier with the beach wagon that’s already there. The host was amazing and made sure we had everything we needed! The welcome basket was a thoughtful touch.

This place was absolutely perfect for me and my family to get away prior to the end of summer. The host is amazingly accommodating and commutative to all my questions. I couldn’t recommend more. We will be checking its availability for future trips.

Another great stay!

We had another great stay at the Elma Catherine! This is our second trip, and it was just as lovely and wonderful as we remembered. Perfect location right near the beach with all the amenities we needed. Perhaps the best praise comes from my 9 year old who said, “When I’m older, maybe I can buy the Elma Catherine and stay here forever.” We had a tough time leaving, and we’re already planning when we can return! Thank you!

Simply the Best!

This is our 3rd or 4th visit to the Elma Catherine, and we loved every minute of our weekend. The house is beautiful, comfortable, and filled with thoughtful touches. Early morning coffee on the screened porch is a favorite.

Our favorite place to stay on DI

This is the most quaint, cozy, clean home away from home. We loved the decor of the Elma Catherine - retro and colorful - it made the house even more enjoyable. It is a short, easy walk to the beach, which is where we spent most all of our days. Everything we could have wanted - and more - was provided in the kitchen. The beds and linens were comfy and of nice quality. This house truly felt like home. It is our new favorite place and hope to return again next year! Thank you!

Great beach bungalow

This is our second year staying at the bungalow because we loved it so much. Short less than 1 minute walk to the beach, great use of a smaller space and inviting decor. We loved ending our day enjoying the screened in porch.
