We really enjoy this complex and have stayed here before, but this was our first time in a ground-floor unit. The convenience for unloading and access was great, but unfortunately, the noise from the upstairs unit was disruptive. The dog above us was very active at night, which made it difficult to get restful sleep. If youâre a light sleeper, a unit on a higher floor might be a better fit.For the price point and cleaning fees, we expected a higher standard of cleanliness. The unit itself looked fine at first glance, but we did notice areas that hadnât been properly maintained. Under the beds hadnât been vacuumed in some time (we had to move them to get windows open since the unit runs warm), and we also found someone elseâs laundry tucked in plain view in front of the washer. The washer itself could use a deep clean as there was visible mold in the liner.The hot tub was a nice perk, but the cover is broken and very difficult to maneuver back into place since it sits in a corner of the patio. This made it more of a hassle to use than it should have been.That said, there are plenty of positives. The location is excellent, close to amenities, and the layout of these units works really well. Bike storage is ample and very convenient. Weâll definitely look to stay in this complex again in the futureâjust probably not this particular unit unless some of these issues are addressed.
